  • Watch how insignificant Sarah Palin becomes. As long as people thought she may run for president, they were interested in what she had to say and she knew this.

  • Q: What does Sarah Palin and LiL Wayne have in common.

A: Nothing that comes out their mouth makes any sense.

  • How can someone with an IQ of about 85 (being generous) be capable of giving it 'much thought' not to run for president? Not criticising the US by the way, we have our own Theresa May!

  • lets take her name off the book and never mention her namr a........gain!

  • Sarah Palin was never "going rogue" and anyone that thinks she was is just a sheep. The whole "rogue" perspective just came from trying to get the republican party to appear fresh and willing to change after the horrible Bush administration. Being "rogue" or a "maverick" was a way to make the public think you want change without actually stating so.

  • I used to love Miller's stand-up routines, what happened to him? 15 years ago he would have been tearing Palin apart. He's a smart guy and was center-left in his views, now he's gone far right. It's really sad seeing him now and remembering what he used to be like.

  • Dennis makes a point (that he later forgets when he interviews her on his radio show). How can Palin claim to be an outsider from the leftist, elitest media when she's appearing on Oprah? She's also been on SNL and is a talking head on a major news network.

    Total hypocrite.

  • Dennis Miller is the classic grenade thrower who stays comfortably and safely in his foxhole while the average joe with some guts(like O'reilly) are out on the front-lines engaging in hand-to-hand combat. Face-to-face encounters aren't Miller's style I guess. He can't even muster up the nerve to attend White House functions(with O'reilly as body-guard). Face it, Dennis is a pedantic coward.

  • I often don't agree with Dennis Miller, but I thought he was making a good point here. Palin is no longer going rogue... if she ever had. She has a book that has received major media attention, she has done many mainstream media interviews including Oprah, and now she has joined Fox News. She is as far away from rogue as one can get. Palin is now officially a part of the mundane mainstream.

  • Denis Miller, O'Reilly and Palin the three stooges. lol.

  • Nice quadruple mixed metaphor starting at :27. Rogue, game, number line and belly of the beast in one short sentence.

  • Agreed but what do you expect from a snake oil salesman .

  • My mind starts to drift as soon as Miller starts to speak.

  • Thats because his IQ is much higher than yours

  • dennis miller is who the hell cares what this guy has to say. And as unfunny as can be. this guy runs a close second to bush in failing upwardly

  • @mathew1000 Whats really insane is you wood (would) vote for her. You want to talk about a clown. Memba "BUSH" now that was a clown! Now obama has to clean this clowns mess! Oh by the way the teorrist attacked "America" on her soil. So it's only fitting that these criminals be tried here on "American" soil where the crime took place! Was not Timothy McVeigh was tried and executed here?

  • @whitershirt3, how many tragedies occurred during Bush's terms? Come on, U R smart, give them to me.

Now, what effect did these tragedies have on our economy? U can tell us, your smart.

Now, isn't it amazing that the economy wasn't in worst shape after the Bush years? Bush had to go after terrorist, deal with katrina AND rita victims, and Bush had to deal with a sorry news media that never supported him.

Now, look at Obama. The media's sweetheart, and 11 months later he still hasn't done shit!!!

  • @david80905 Do you think taking the country and world to the brink of economic collapse wasnt so bad?Funny in Amerika the damage those hurricanes created would cause a flurry of economic activity and show up as growth and help the gdp. Obama in a few short months turned the economy from the abiss that was bush and gop policy.Stop your fucking whining about the media.

  • @amerikanred-hey commie, educate urself, our bad economy was a result of a horrible sub-prime market, made that way by FannieMae & FreddieMac while under the REIGN of Obama's buddy franklin raines. When Bush attempted to regulate Freddie&Fannie, fudgepacker Barney Frank shouted in his slovenly way there was no problem.

Do me a fav asshole, It's America, not commie Amerkia. I didn't serve 21 years in the military to hear assholes refer to it as Amerika. If U don't like, MOVE ur ass RUSSIA!!

  • @david80905 21 years on the public dole? I suppose we have to pay you pension and healthcare. You should ask corporate Amerika to pay it for you. Thats who you work for. Capitalism was killed by capitalists. Your leaders sold you and your family to China for a fast buck. But go ahead blame the Amerikan working people. If you werent in the military youd know what the real world is about. DUPE

  • @amerikanred-Hey dumb shit, I can see U never understood what patriotism and duty is about. While you were basking in the sun benefiting from the freedoms military men and women like myself have given you, I was sitting in Thule greenland enduring 24 hours of darkness and -65 degree temps. While you were experience fun in the summertime, I was in Saudi fighting camel spiders and 110 degree temperatures hoping I can put on my chem gear before the next missile lands. U don't have a clue do YOU!

  • Oh jeez and YOU were defending the US constitution! Say's a lot about the military and nothing at all about Obama. You assholes are like spoiled kids. Growup and get a real job. NOW!

  • @mrsthursday-to get a clue about the life of a military member U need to have lived the life, join why don't U. I see by ur comment that U have only benefited from the service of military members U haven't sacrificed one bit at all. Those of us who R privileged to serve the greatest nation on earth know what defending the US Constitution means. We know what sacrifice is, U who sit back & make judgments are shameful! u think a real job is a 9 to 5 & back home, try 18 hour days & 6 hour nights.

  • All the male members of my family saw military service. I know what I know.

  • @mrsthursday-It appears U don't know much. It's never a good idea to compare military service, but since U mentioned. All men in my family served in the military (including me), 2 sisters served, 2 sisters married military men. 1 brother is currently in Iraq, 1 nephew prepared to leave in Jan 2010, 1 nephew in the AF Academy. A father that served in both Navy & Army. I did 108 in Saudi, served in places that freeze soda's in less than 10 minutes. & I certainly know that Obama is a socialist.

  • @mrsthursday-continued; read the communist manifesto, Obama's books, listen to pre-presidency speeches of his, listen to him talk about the constitution's lack of giving government more control over civilians lives, sit back & think what exactly his health care plan will do to your privacy and right to choose, how his cap & trade will cause more taxes 2 you & I, whether it taxes us directly or not, & then you'll understand just what a commie Obama is. His ideas R straight out of communism 101.

  • @david80905 It's always nice to see an intelligent, non-beligerant defense of one's ideas. I was in the service too. Your post reminds me of a venting child who's been suffering from Fox News overload. Who are you to tell anyone to leave America?

  • @amerikanred

Okay commie stop all of this red talk. Its a shame your keyboard doesnt have the backwards "k" on it any where. You are a great example of the Obama supporter. Pulling this country back from the abyss while unemployment goes to 10.2 percent. Yeah that sounds like the back from the brink. I am sure that you and old KGB Vladimir will be smiling when this country collapses.

  • And yet they still haven't indicted Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, et al. They behaved like criminals, which is what they are, to paraphrase Marlon Brando.

  • @mrsthursday-why has Bush, Cheney, or Rumsfield been indicted? Because they didn't commit any crimes. You've been watching to much ABC, MSNBC, CNN and watching the view to often. You probably think 9/11 was an inside job don't you? Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfield did what they were elected or chosed to do, that's protect us from further terrorist attacks after Clinton failed to take Osama Bin Laden in to custody when offered to us by Sudanese minister of state for defense, Maj. Gen. Elfatih Erwa!

  • First off we haven't watched tv in quite a while. I read-a lot- various opinions and I look at the source of the opinions b4 I make a judgement. It's called being sceptical. It's a good thing. Bush and the rest of the hardcore conservatives will tell anyone who'll listen that they fu*ked up. Well not good enough, boys, you do the crime you do the time.

  • Look I never said that Bush and company were in the right, but that sure as hell doesnt make Obama right either. Truth is that progressives are destroying this country either d or r.

  • @amerikanred, the country and world was never at the brink of economic collapse. Uve been watching to much MSNBC and CNN. If you think Obama has turned the economy you sure are sucking on the tit of liberalism. Obama hasn't done shit, that's why we have a 10.2% unemployment rate, the highest foreclosure rate perhaps ever, but you probably haven't heard that on the MSNBC have you. Or they spin it by saying "if not for Obama it could be worse" Obama is THE worst president in our history!

  • @david80905 Whats's amazing is that "Bush Jr" inherited a so-so ..to good economy and a "Billion or so" surplus! When he left..well I don't need to tell you cause u smart!? You "BUSH" defenders are amazing!? All the "Tragedies"..9/11..Katrina..Rita..the country is still dealing with it. Oh by the way the was "Cute" when you wrote bush "TRIED" to reg. Fan/Fred..PLEASE!!!! Memba..the GOP..cry.."LESS GOVERMENT" and he did and here we are!!! No Gov. oversight.."Born " the "Sub-Prime Morgatage"!

  • I agree with Dennis Miller that I'd be surprised if she tried to run for President in 2012. She appeared on Oprah because she wrote a book and people promote their books by going on air. I wouldn't have picked Oprah, she's not Palin-friendly and everyone knows it. But maybe that's what she wanted, who knows -- an adversary to face.

I do think however, that Palin will continue to garner sympathy if the unjustified, ruthless attacks on her continue because it wasn't warranted.

  • I really like the way Miller speaks his mind.

  • Bisexual coke snorter? Didn't know anyone still believed Larry Sinclair. That dude was nuts.

  • I think body language says a lot in the Oprah interview with Palin. While Palin is moving forward trying to connect with Oprah, Oprah is huddled back in her seat, keeping her distance. It's not at all the usual Oprah you see when she actually LIKES who she's talking to. My impression was, it was an awkward interview. They didn't connect and that was Oprah's fault. The body language said it all.

But then again, Oprah has changed so much over the years, she's not the same person at all.

  • Correct assesment on O. She's only comfortable giving her audience things that really just add to our already polluted world, but hey, it's ok, it's O and we all need to sell our junk right.

  • My take on this interview as a female is that Oprah definitely didn't like Palin and Palin tried too hard to reach out.

When people obviously don't like you, it shouldn't be that painful to watch the other have to explain themselves over and over. I don't know why Palin even bothers. You can see the mocking on Oprah's part when she sneeringly drawls out family names like Leviiiiiiii and it's shameful on Oprah's part. Oprah has that holier-than-thou attitude that I didn't get from Palin.

  • Ha! You can always tell who the liberals fear the most by how much they attack the person. It wouldnt have been my choice but Palin would have been a much better president than Obama, hell my 9 year old nephew could do a better job.

  • I get the sense that Palin would have been a lot more trustworthy than Obama. Obama lies right to the public's face. He doesn't care about anyone except his supporters. He wants to change this country and said so. He doesn't like capitalism or free markets. He BELIEVES he's entitled to own the wealth and distribute it as he sees fit. He's truly a socialist. All the things Palin is not.

I don't trust Obama or McCain, but Palin is definitely the lesser of those two evils.

  • Everything you said about Obama applies equally to Palin. What has she ever done to prove that she's trustworthy? Even McCain's campaign head called her book "full of lies" the other day.

  • She's been Governor of a State for 3 years. She was Mayor for 6. She was a councilwoman before that. She has more experience than your community organizer. I never said she should be President, but for you to sit there and act like Obama has as much experience as she has, is a flat out lie.

As for McCain's campaign head, let him prove whatever he doesn't like that she said. The truth is, the McCain campaign thought they were getting a bimbo they could control and found out differently.

  • Okay, I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. Where in my comment did I say anything about liking Obama?!? You do realize it's possible to think both Palin AND Obama are lying politicians, right?

As for Palin's experience, she was mayor of a town of 6,000. Do you realize how small that is? That basically means nothing.

Stop your assumptions and just accept that Palin is out to make a buck.

  • Well badtown, you sure sound defensive on Obama and very critical of Palin for no reason. You also state she lied but don't say anything about what.

She does have more experience in running all facets of public infrastructure than Obama, but that's not to say she has more experience than someone else who wasn't elected.

I'm saying, there's really nothing to be trashing this woman for, yet all I see is nothing but people who have nothing better to do and I have to wonder why.

  • badtown88, what American isn't out to make a buck? R U telling me that you wouldn't write a book if it would earn U a profit and also clear up some of the perceptions those who hate U have?

Obama wrote 2 books, profiting him over a million dollars, why aren't U slamming him?

Even as mayor of small town, palin has more experience than Obama, add in her position as Governor and that doubles the experience she has over Obama. I've heard Obama's lies from his mouth, haven't heard any from Palins!

  • Palin is trustworthy because she's CONSISTENT. She doesn't play the game of politics that is nothing more than lying to people for votes. Name ONE thing she stood on that she now did an about face on?

If you don't agree with her values, don't vote for her, but don't question her integrity because she's never flip-flopped on the issues. That's a flaw seen in BOTH Obama and McCain and the rest of the politicians. God knows we've already seen Obama going back on his word several times.

  • She's never flip-flopped??? Last time I checked, her flip-flopping on supporting the "bridge to nowehere" was well documented. I can't stand Republicans who believe that their politicians are somehow better than Democrats. Here's a little piece of wisdom: THEY ALL PLAY ON THE SAME TEAM AND THEY ARE ALMOST ALL POWER-HUNGRY WHORES. I thought that was pretty much common knowledge at this point.

  • You do realize that whatever Palin said or didn't say about that bridge, the fact was that Congress had already appropriated the money in favor of it.

But seriously, if this is the only issue, by comparison to other politicians, I don't see what all the hubub is about. She wasn't a Senator in charge of appropriations.

Meanwhile, the rest of the 49 states are taking money frivolously right and left by the billions, not to mention the banks, and you're not saying a word about that abuse.

  • I don't label myself. I think for myself, thank you. ASSume someone is rupublican or democrat on your own time. Don't ASSume I am something I never said I was. I think for MYSELF!

  • Dennis Miller is just really not funny anymore. I really miss his SNL days:(

  • Who is Boobongo?

  • I feel bad for Sarah she seems like a nice person, but she is definately not Presidential or vice presidental material. I hope her book sells well and she makes a lot of money that's all!

  • Comment removed

  • It's amazing to me how nervous she makes liberals. I know, you will all say, "she doesn't make me nervous!". If she was a joke & not worth even talking about, why do you spend so much time attacking her? If she is insignificant, why worry about what other people think? Why even feel the need to trash her (probably because you have no way of arguing political points of view so you just go in attack mode). So if she is such a joke and can't be taken serious, then ignore her. She'll go away. Right?

  • They are hoping to take the attention and discussion away from Pelosi and Obama who are publicly nailing in the last nails of the coffin fn a country that was designed to be a republic.

  • failin palin 2012

  • i hope she runs for president, just so obama gets another guaranteed term.

  • If humor and wit is a sign of intelligence, what does a lack of it mean for you?

  • @plebes78, hoo boy, I can't top that comeback! "What does a lack of it mean for you?" Oh HO HO HO HO HO -- stop it, you're killin' me! Sheer genius! How d'ya come up with 'em, mate?

  • Yes, Cocobear33. I just looked at your YouTube page and I'm not surprised that someone with your ideology would "favorite" Hannah Montanas, Hoe Down Throw Down, How funny

  • how's palin a joke ddavey , she has a book coming out that's already number one and not one copy has even been passed out yet , she was a mayor, a governor , she was almost the VP of the USA, she's a mother , a wife and she just got over a million dollars and may i add that million she got was just a down payment , so my friend when you can do what she has done so far in her life then maybe you could talk some shit , so as it stands the only joke i see is you

  • a book thats now priced at $4.97 hahahaha.

watch her VP debate again, or listen to her resignation speech. She has no clue about politics. she quit her job as Gov to cash in on the book deal. She needs hooked on phonics. But hey put her up there in 2012. It will be a good laugh in the primaries til the real front runner is chosen.

  • she's a joke

  • Look, here is a reality check.

This will go to number one because all the bottom feeder conservatives will be sucking it up like it is one of the missing chapters from the bible.

Now if you really think a person that isn't capable of stringing two sentences together really wrote this book you are dumber than I thought you are.

All the little conservative wives with their tennis club memberships and page boy hair cuts will be at Barnes and Noble on the release date.

  • Why would you vote for someone that quit their governorship? She abandoned you, Alaska. Actually, she did you a favor. Maybe, she does care after all...

  • I hope she runs for President so we can be over the Obama fiasco

  • she wont win. Britney Spears has a better chance, LOL

  • I hope the GOP makes her their nominee for President in 2012. Then I can watch Obama get re-elected with a landslide.

  • She ruined the womens movement unless you're talking about a bowel movement

  • No like bush. No like palin.

  • Palin a joke! I hope the GOP nominates her in 2012. Please pick Palin Please! republicans, what a bunch of losers.

  • Sarah Palin wanted to go on Oprah for her own reasons! Now,she was her book promoted! But she'll probably try to do the "ramble on" answers.I hope Oprah doesn't let her get away with it. Oprah is a journalist, first.Sarah Palin will later blame her for being harsh. Just as she did Katie ,first she ok'ed the interview. Then said Katie was rough on her!

  • "But she'll probably try to do the "ramble on""

Is this the pot calling the kettle black?

  • No,not at all! I just made more sense than Palin's whole political career! I didn't need writers for it either!

  • Palin is first rate lady. You can tell your on the right track when youtube and the left media w/ Dave Letterman angry types hate you:)

  • Cry us a fucking river ....

  • Yes, you are right. Libs and the left literally and openly hate her with passion. They have since the day she was announced as VP candidate.

  • Sarah Palin, What are you thinking? Oprah is not your friend; She has been losing viewer ship since supporting Obama. Why would you want to help her out? Glen Beck and Mark Levin are selling their books without having to stoop to going on Oprah. If you truly want to be perceived as being a Rogue you need to reconsider going on the show. Sarah, you should not go on!

  • Funny how Obama won't go on Fox News. How is he going to debate with the next Rep who runs against him? How long is he going to blame Bush for everything? He promised transparency and biparticanship. What a bunch of bullshit. On a good note, he has united the Republican party and we only have 3 more years of his liberal bullshit.

  • "Sarah Palin's GOP shakeup"

    newsforum(dot)me/Forum/?Thread=AP-TL-AV

  • I don't think experience has very much to do with anything, just look at our current President... We all know that they just stuck that inexperienced black guy in office because he could talk good and would make history, and then the real power players could tell him what to do. Obama is always giving a speech somewhere, the guy never works - just gives speeches and talks a lot.

  • Did Bush work. I know he could barely speak and get the facts straight.

  • What does George Bush have to do with my comment?

  • Either way, him and Obama are one in the same. Obama's just a better speaker, that's it.

  • Yes, you are right. Unfortunately, the American people were seduced by his smooth speech. Meanwhile, Obama is continuing and accelerating Bush's irresponsible and corrupt spending habits. Obama and Pelosi are stealing even more of our freedom with their unpopular healthcare reform.

But all is not lost, as the media phrased it the day after the election, "It is cool to be an American again".

  • Don't be naive. Every country still has their own objective, it just so happens to be the ones who are socialists.

  • Who would beat her out of the Repub ticket?

If she wasn't a threat, no one would care.

That includes the media and the democrats - which are virtually the same.

  • Romney, Huckabee, hell my next door neighbor. All of us have more political experience than Palin! LMAO

  • Wakeupyoudreamer77 - Wow you are obsessed with Sarah Palin. Especially for someone who in your opinion has absolutely no shot at winning.

In case you didn't know - before the election, she had more experience than Obama.

  • more experience at quitting? quit 5 colleges, has a degree in journalism yet cant handle the media?. Obama taught constitutional law for 12 years, was a state senator for 7, was on the foreign relations committee for 2 as a US senator. Palin doesnt even have experience speaking english properly..LOL

  • The only thing Obama did before coming President was give speeches and let Bill Ayers write his books. He " voted present " on everything... besides voting Yes for killing babies that survives a botched abortion.

He only worked 159 days in the senate - Whoo Hoo..

  • Prior to the election Palin was a real Mayor Obama wasn't. She's been a Real Governor, Obama wasn't, She has been in charge of the Alaskan National Guard, Obumba wasn't, She was a whistle blower who defeated an incumbent Mayor, whistle blower who turned in her own chairman of her own party and got him fined, Obama never showed any courage like that. Maybe you're thinking how he trained ACORN workers...

  • Stop voting strictly dem/rep---jeez look at the ppl and what they stand for--no more bailouts to the blood sucking banks..No more loss of freedoms--Where so these ppl stand--know this shyt before you pull the lever--Cant you ppl see they both parties are destroying this country.

  • Miller is a punk ass tool.

  • i would love to see a palin beck ticket in 2012. my political youtube videos have been fueled by these two. and i have loved every minute of it. what can i say? i am enthralled by idiots.

  • Well, one's an idiot. The other is just asking WHY?Why do we have an administration full of communists? Is that the change you wanted?

  • WHY dont you go ahead and give some ground hard EXAMPLES of communist policy? that is not the change that i wanted. communists in the white house. no thanks! but i am not such a knee jerk reactionist, to be alarmed by others, like beck, implying stuff that is just not true. repeating loaded words enough does not make something true.

  • Well, first they forced banks to make sub-prime loans, then they "bail them out"now the US GOV. decides what their CEO's can earn.If that isn't the first stage of communism then....

  • ...you're not a kneejerk liberal.

  • your point that i argued against, was obama being communist.

1.i dont know how much force was really used against those banks. talk to the wall street hedge fund guys about that one.

    2. the bail out was bush...

    3. CEO cap. lets be honest in this case. it is not ok, for a company using our money... i see your concern, and it would be alarming if this was directed at all CEO's. but just the ones you and i are paying. when they pay us back, no more cap.

please read: whats the matter w/ kansas.

  • two neocons dying a slow death

  • When has Dennis Miller become an expert on ANYTHING.

  • Palin on Oprah,.. big deal, As my grandparents would say, "two peas in a pod."

  • Hate to say it but Miller has a point about Palin.

What's the odd that Miller will have his own show on Fox News sooner than later?

    I'd watch it.

  • After watching the other two liberal comments in here, all I have to do is remind them where Obama announced his candidacy and quote today's Gallup:

"Barack Obama averaged 52.9% approval in his third quarter in office, down sharply from a 62% average in his second. That is the largest drop between those quarters for an elected president since 1953, and one of the largest quarter-to-quarter drops for any first-year president."

Looks like we could run Mickey Mouse in 2012 and beat the Dems.

  • Check out the 20% of US citizens who are willing to identify themselves as Republicans.

Obama's poll numbers are up, and will likely get better. And while the American public has a notoriously short memory I think they might cringe at the thought of letting another GOP type into the oval office.

But dream on if you like.

  • Wow, only 20%? Makes you wonder why Obama and Gibbs are so afraid of Rush Limbaugh and Fox News doesn't it?

The worst poll numbers since 1953!

But, dream on if you like.

  • I hope she runs for President so we Democrats can FUCK her again!

  • YES, the liberals will ram her hard in the buttocks.. "you betcha., uh huh".

  • Such class we have in America.

  • Yeah, just what this country needs...even less viable options for President. At least when we had two we could pretend to be a democracy.

  • And we get to see Tina Fey back on SNL again. Everybody wins, except for Palin of course, who will get her ass whooped by Obama even worse than last time.

  • You mean whooped by the media. Obama couldn't whoop a mouse. The only reason that crook was elected was because of the whores in the media.

  • His wife made him do it.

She woulda kicked his butt if he didn't win

  • Another right-winger blaming the librul media for the pounding u guys took. You people have an excuse for everything. Tell me how Sarah Palin (the Messiah of the right wing) is going to be our next president when she can't even do simple interviews with people like Katie Couric. Asking her "how are you doing today Sarah?" is considered a trciky gotcha question to her.

  • aww.. the Republicans are gonna cry if she doesnt run, LOL

  • I think we are all going to be crying if we get another republican or democrat in the office. In general, they are both screwing us to the ground. Unfortunately , many Americans would rather stick their heads in the sand and treat the democrat/republican games as another sport.
