The government official who phoned Ruby, and told her to give back the passports, has spoken in court. The payment of $1.56 per hour is unlawful, and she did not subit payment to EI or CPP. She is caught, it's over, she is guilty.
Sorry Ruby, this isn't Punjab. In Canada, all people, especially politicians, are subject to the laws of the land and legal recourse.
