iOS5 is faster on my 3Gs

My firmware was 4.3.1

But after updating to iOS5 , i notice significant changes on the speed and battery longetivity

My battery percentages drains 3% every single hour on 4.3.1 , iOS5 which drains almost 3% only overnight (about 8 hours)

Some time the UI maybe a little sluggishness , but it is fine thou , as long as my touch is registered it is fine , not like android , sometime the touch is not registered making me confuse...

Its my opinion of course =D

This video is an accurate depiction of how iOS5 runs on a 3GS.

I agree with many comments about it being an unfair comparison as IOS5 was designed primarily for the 4/4S... But many many people still have the 3GS (even Apple are not removing it from sale), so there will be plenty of people that will want to see this, and use it as a guide as to whether they should update or not.

IOS5 is very good, with lots of new useful features, but on the 3GS, 4.3.3 was certainly quicker.

not only is this guy testing perfected (i use that loosely) iOS versions against EARLY EARLY beta software (ios 5 b1-3 were HORRID), but he isnt even giving it a fair test. I wouldn't be surprised if he used a 3gs vs iphone 4.

This makes no sense your phone will be slower if you have more stuff on it, if you want to do a fair test you need to factory reset them and change all the settings to the same as each other the right iPhone appears to have allot more stuff on it, therfore it will generally be slower.
