I agree with Bell in regard to fixed classes. How many of us actually surpass the class we were born into? I know I haven't. We are force fed this notion of the American dream, that if you work hard enough, you can rise above it. I always tell those overtime whores that I work with, "You'll are never going to escape this middle-class existence that way."
