Nice, fun, and creative, but not a Stirling engine. This is a putt-putt boat engine, a form of simple open cycle piston-less steam jet engine.
A Stirling engine is a form of closed cycle hot air engine with a regenerator similar to that devised by Robert Stirling nd patented in 1816. Important that tech teachers provide the correct information.
Nice little putt-putt, though. Have fun!
