One of my favorites of all time. Amirov has successfully composed/arranged for the standard symphonic orchestra a music that traditionally uses tar and other traditional instruments and pitches outside of the equal temperament, conveying all the intricate aesthetics of Azari music. Thank you for posting this important work.

For an interesting contrasting performance, please check out the Leopold Stokowski recording of this work with the Houston Symphony, from an original Everest recording. Very exciting, although this rendition is wonderfully atmospheric.
