In the original Japanese arcade release, it was called a "Saving Attack". When localized to America for consoles (not sure about other countries), it was dubbed a "Focus Attack".

"Very useful video" i think that too...
This "Focus Attack" is more strategic move more usefull than "Parry" and make a more tactic and balanced gameplay.

Correct me if I'm wrong but yea it is. Focus canceling however takes 50% of the super bar.
How I wish they implemented parrying from sfIII 3S..
