I like that its only going to be one hero in DS3. But I hate that you have to choose a character thats already made. There are no customizeable characters. :(
@magnus00125 Actually from playing the demo recently on the Xbox 360 on single-player, one of the other playable characters was added to my party after freeing said character (towards the end of the demo but), giving me the thought that all of the playable characters will end up in your party, it's just that the one you choose will be (of course) the one you play, and the others are AI controlled (you can still give them better equipment though, so they wont be weak).
@sakismandilis the book, u've got to solve the book-sidequest, collect 20 or so books and bring them to... eirulan? don't know, just google for a walktrough ;)

Does anybody know where I can find a list of all the different class titles you can get? I know that depending on how much training you have in a specific skill set, you earn different ranks like hedge wizard, sorcerer, knight, warrior, and stuff like that. But I can't find a full list.
My lineup was 1 archer, 1 melee, 1 nature-spell mage for healing, summoning, and buffing, 1 combat-mage for spells, summoning, and curses. (I was in the first mode btw) It worked out great, the only time that my group died was when I didnt know the button to drink health potion.
3 mages and no ice elemental ? that should give you a lot of headaches, especially if nature mage has healing spells on autocast and you combat mages have curses on autocast.

Nice video, I take it your Nature Mage is a healer/summoner hybrid. Never paired a duel-wielder with a 2-hander, but looks like it works great, especially with 2 combat mages laying waste to everything in your path. I was playing a CM with a S&S FoS tank (BW exp), but I've been thinking about making a duel-wielder and after seeing this vid I think I'm going to.
Just because he is level one-hundred does not necessarily mean he used a trainer. Remember that there are three levels of difficulty for Dungeon Siege 2: Mercenary, Veteran, and Elite. If Nightlover69's party is playing at the Elite difficulty level then it is possible for his character to be level 100.
@MrRene7654 You just press on what ever party member u want to dismiss and u open up inventory and at the top left corner there is a button saying disband or dismiss characther? and u will send him/her to inn automaticly when removing him/her from party and u can just go to inn in the future if u want him/her back .
For Magu, your able to have as many mages or fighters or w/e in your group, you just have to find the npc's that use the job, and you can't have over 6 people.
not bad that team mine was just pets and i gone to elite just with them the wolf and the other pets are realy nice to use in combat fast kills depends on what combos you use with teh pets

finished the main game and just started with bw...didn't play veteran levels. Is there a way i can still have more than 4 parties at mercenary level??? Elf melee is just as good as human right? my company consists of 3 elves and 1 giant. Leader is my melee class elf, archer and mage are amren and finala and giant is lothar. At BW, sent lothar to the inn for the dwarf from the dryad outpost . Wld've it bn better if i kept lothar??
@audittthebest to put a party member in the inn in dungeon siege 2 simply click on the inventory button and then at the top left of the window there is a little red button that asks you if you want to send your party member to the inn. click it and that selected party member will go staight to the inn
in that i used the combat mage as my main character, i used my other party members but mainly that character so i could be the first to engage and keep attacking

@Pinoyeye0563 I strongly disagree : Mages rule DS2 because they have soo easy ways to do damage, and are powerful at buffing and debuffing: With enough mages you can have an army of summons more tanky than a tank, more damage at range than a good ranged fighter, and easy on mana because of using certain specialties such as natural bond and brilliance: Natural Bond makes spells cheaper, while Brilliance increases maximum mana and thus increases mana regeneration.
@BoroMonokli I don't use Natural Bond. My Nature mages have sucked so bad that i don't even have one any more, i just give my fighters healing spells.

in the ds2, you can step on three difficulties: mercenary, veteran and elite. in the mercenary level you can get 4 members (including you) 5 in veteran, and 6 in elite. you can't get them all, especially some of the character will have their own personal quests. come and play the game, and have a good time! you will never regret this game.
and anyway, if you already download the ds2, i will suggest you to download also the broken world to have more good items and 2 jobs will follow!
That's with powers but my nature mage did 5k dmg using spells (Grasping Vines) and with powers it's true combat magic powers do the best dmg. However my char was a "magus", a combination of nature magic and combat magic. I used Invincibility mostly it's the best so NATURE MAGE RULES !! \m/ :)
15-21k wasnt with powers. That was with skull spray, the strongest spell in the game. I was alos a mix, i only branched off to Nature for the magic damage and life stealing buffs. My mage didnt need invincibility, he was invincible, nothing can kill you when you steal life that fast ;o. COMBAT MAGES RULE.
tips : best class here - nature mage - i made like 1k dmg normal with grasping vines (lvl 40-50) and like 5k at lvl 80. It's hard at the beginning to lvl with nature magic so use combat magic first then lvl up nature magic as well ;) And btw very nice game i really liked it
you don'r need to be lvl 100 to play dungeon siege broken world. After you complete dungeon siege normal edition on mercenary difficulty (lvl 45-50) you begin to continuie the story on ds broken world on same difficulty - mercenary. After you finish this you must start the game again on 2nd difficulty, finish ds-bw on 2nd difficulty then start the game AGAIN on 3rd dificulty and finish it on ds-bw 3rd difficulty - then you will have lvl 100 ... :D
Lol I used 2003 default and can highest lol! GET Windows XP Home Preimuim good for shawdows and effects, Bad for the 2006 year or higher games but I can play Fear on Highest no lagg ^^.

That's with powers but my nature mage did 5k dmg using spells (Grasping Vines) and with powers it's true combat magic powers do the best dmg. However my char was a "magus", a combination of nature magic and combat magic. I used Invincibility mostly it's the best so NATURE MAGE RULES !! \m/ :)

15-21k wasnt with powers. That was with skull spray, the strongest spell in the game. I was alos a mix, i only branched off to Nature for the magic damage and life stealing buffs. My mage didnt need invincibility, he was invincible, nothing can kill you when you steal life that fast ;o. COMBAT MAGES RULE.

tips : best class here - nature mage - i made like 1k dmg normal with grasping vines (lvl 40-50) and like 5k at lvl 80. It's hard at the beginning to lvl with nature magic so use combat magic first then lvl up nature magic as well ;) And btw very nice game i really liked it

you don'r need to be lvl 100 to play dungeon siege broken world. After you complete dungeon siege normal edition on mercenary difficulty (lvl 45-50) you begin to continuie the story on ds broken world on same difficulty - mercenary. After you finish this you must start the game again on 2nd difficulty, finish ds-bw on 2nd difficulty then start the game AGAIN on 3rd dificulty and finish it on ds-bw 3rd difficulty - then you will have lvl 100 ... :D

Lol I used 2003 default and can highest lol! GET Windows XP Home Preimuim good for shawdows and effects, Bad for the 2006 year or higher games but I can play Fear on Highest no lagg ^^.

no they arent high i suppose it came out in 2005 or so but the requirements are...
it needs a 256 mbit 1.0 ghz processor,the video card...
ati radeon series 7000 or better. and i guess 256 mbit of ram

You can import your character from DS2 easily by going to the "single player" screen in BW. =D
