@GrenadesandDaisies Emo was born in the late 80's from a Hardcore band Rites of spring. Since then many emo bands have been inspired by that era was turned into its on style really in the 90's. Screamo was a more chaotic sound and bands like Pg. 99, orchid, Funeral Diner,etc.

But ever since emo hit the mainstream people just refer to it all stupid... wich it is because of all these gay ass screamo bands today liek Attack attack and asking alexandria.
