  • Sisko is a great captain but too bad he was number 4 on star trek dot com polls.

    Picard was number 1

    Janeway 2

    Kirk 3

    Sisko 4

    Archer 5

  • nooooooooooooo capt sisko was pulled over for a dui i read on tmz. such a dark day in star trek history

  • I love how Kirk would spend an entire episode trying to fuck his way of trouble, Picard would try to talk his way out of it and Sisko would drop a fucking bioweapon on your head and tell you he's The Sisko bitch.

  • sisko is an ass hole

  • i love sisko! i thought after Picard star trek would never be able to rebound but he was seriously effing cool

  • You forgot the time Sisko threatens to nail Quark to the wall.

  • It all started two weeks ago... while I was destroying the station.

  • Prepare 2 fucking torpedoes

  • Sisko!

  • there is a episode where sisko and dax sees the enterprise... what episode is that?

  • What episode was that where he talking about lasers penetrating the earth crust?

  • @rmeddy1

    "Our Man Bashir"

It's a fun episode, takes place almost entirely in a holosuite.

  • Trace buster buster..

  • Not even close, Sisko is the best captain!

  • Sisko goes through quantum torpedoes like they were photon torpedoes...

  • Guns dont kill people. The Sisko kills people.....

  • ............PHA!!

  • They're all great! Each one fits his or her command outfit perfectly!

  • The word Best is not enough

  • Sisko was Chuck Norris's great great great great great great great great great grandson.

  • Haha, I love how you edited Rocks and Shoals to make it look like Sisko killed Keevan.

DS9 was the last best Star Trek series, my favorite of them, though I do like TOS and TNG as well, but can't stand Voyager and only liked Enterprise Season 4.

  • The Sisko is the solution.

    The Sisko is the way.

    The Sisko is the constitution

  • Clearly The Bestest Captain!

  • DON'T MESS WITH SISKO

  • Sure, he may have been an accessory to murder, he may have had crazy visions, he may have poisoned a planet, he may have given his crew impossible orders, he may have tried to destroy the Earth with deadly lasers... but Sisko was still more sane than Janeway.

  • Sisko was the bestest captain, no doubt about it- but Avery Brooks's overacting gives William Shatner a run for his money!!!!! Kathryn Janeway on the other hand was a poorly-written captain, but Kate Mulgrew is a first-rate actor/actress.

  • Picard is my favorite, but when it comes to warfare, Sisko is the best

  • @SgtHydra Count Bakula? You must be shrooming.

  • @pandagenma Everyone else sucked.

  • @SgtHydra Archer was a great captain. Especially since he was so hands on. And since he was setting the stage for latter events. And he was play a critical role in history he quite had to. But they all had their own qualities. Chris Pine is the only captain who sucked imo.

  • Sisko > Kirk

    Sisko > Picard

    Sisko > Archer.

Janeway doesn't get consideration as, well, go watch Voyager. You'll see what I mean. Sisko would have taken one look at Janeway, and she would have burst into flame. Or she would have disintegrated into a pile of pure *shame*.

    Sisko's the best.

  • no no no Kirk=sisko. Then they're >>> every other captain. in my book kirk > sisko but it's not too much.

  • what episode is the poisoned wine clip from?

  • you cannot deny ben sisko, he exists

  • 2:30 - It's Dr. Evil, Baby!

  • I love The Sisko. Avery Brooks knows how to crank the Ham up to ten without making the character look completely ridiculous.

  • 3:51 A+++

  • The edited dukat-kanar scene was pretty damn funny

  • @MountainBoost Thank you. :) I like when people notice the little things.

  • The last part where you get crazy with the edits.. you should separate those. They remind me a lot of the Jandrew edits and were definitely the best part of the video.

  • ITS REALLLLLLLL... I love this man.

  • Weyoon was AWESOME, and so was Dukat. And Garek. And Kira. Oh, hell; it was an awsome show

  • I loved Sisko!!! So grand and elegant. I actually love all the Captains because I cannot make up my mind....Avery Brooeks Rules

  • 1:50 is the funniest part! LOL

  • Why are you trying to make The Emisseray look crazy?

    3:49

    4:51

    Funniest moments. LOL

  • I cannot stop giggling! I love Sisko but he wasn't the ... sanest of men, was he? Also: "I want his body." "I had no idea." slayed me.

  • @jackflak1979 No since in you trying out for a casting director with that type of suggestion.

  • @abanks1959 You're right, you should do it. After you shave your ass, you can walk around backwards in front of the camera.

  • @jackflak1979 What's your beef with The Sisko? :P

  • @jackflak1979 Nah... Samual L Jackson

  • @jackflak1979 martin lawrence??????????? r u on drugs?

  • There's a reason he's the only captain they call "The"

  • Best captain? No.

    My favorite captain? Yes.

  • @bamapagedesign Best Captain? Yes!!!

    My favorite captain? Hell yes!!!

  • Heres the thing though considering that most of worf's ideas usually include killing the opposition such as in I borg when he recommended killing the soon to be named Hugh and make it look like and an accident and and that every confrontation with romulans, maquis, dominion, cardassian anyone with the (last?/first?) name of Duras, random aliens, rival starfleet officers, and or oppossing soccer players(can you catch the refrence?) can be solved with their death he should be onboard with this.

  • @siriousvader Then again maybe he's holding out for more quantem torpedoes because 50 years isnt simply long enough to please Mr. Worf

  • @siriousvader And opposing baseball players. "Death to the opposition!"

  • What episode is that doctor evil plot from?

  • @Craydon s04e09 - Our Man Bashir

  • @Craydon The man is clearly insane.

  • Sisko was the best captain, No doubt about it! He had a realism and complexity to his character unique amongst the 5 series' captains. The episode 'Far Beyond the Stars,' directed by Avery Brooks himself - @ 3:32 - was particularly moving and exceptional drama.

  • @rumrunner777 Well said.

  • so the trick is to always tell him that you need more time than you really do so that he will give you the time you actually needed.

  • picard all the way

  • Absolutely brilliant. Nice work.

  • looooooooool. mate, thank you for that one. 'i would like his body' > 'i had no idea' ....

  • The most well acted and well rounded Captain for sure. No other Captain had the depth of Sisko his relationship with his son and father by the amazing Avery Brooks is something that hasnt been replicated yet in Trek.

But the best Captain? for me.......yes, BUT Kirk (the adventurer) Picard (the diplomat) would give Sisko (the soldier) a good run for his money....

  • sisko was brilliant as were all the captains, but captain janeway was the best in my opinion, she was caring and compassionate, yet badass if she wanted to be.kate mulgrew was damn fine back in the day too.

  • when did he shave his hair?

  • 3:53 ! XDXDXDXDXDXDXDLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLXD

  • "I suppose it started 2 weeks ago/ while i was destroying the station."

    LMAO!!! XD

  • 3:51 LOL-AGE!

  • Picard may have been the only man Worf wouldn't kill, but Sisko is the only man Worf ever feared.

  • @erentheca And I love that scene where Ezri tells Sisko that he intimidates Worf. Sisko looked positively giddy.

  • YEAH He was a bit on the extreme side....still like 'em though

  • sisko makes a excellent dr. no. :)

  • what ep is that at 1:00

  • Great stuff. I love watching Captain Sisko and Jake sailing away as DS9 explodes.

  • Genius! I especially love what you've edited in, and in particular, Captain Sisko and Jake sailing away laughing as DS9 explodes.

  • commander Sisko best in Starfleet FTW!

  • Mace Windu aint got nothing on Sisko.

  • SISKO KICKS ASS.

  • This is almost as good as GeneralGrin's TNG Recut. Well done!

  • Why is there a Bolian Admiral at 4:00?

  • Such raw emotion from Mr. Brooks.

  • LOL... patience and total sanity. He really WAS awesome when he was angry. I love all the Trek captains in different ways, but there's a special place in my heart for 'A Captain Called Hawk'. =)

  • @bekkers29 NIce!!!

  • 3 50 makes me laugh uncontrolably

  • DestinedJedi: Of course DS9 is a Star Trek series, I don't think anyone is really saying otherwise. But that doesn't mean that ALL Star Trek fans HAVE to like it, any more than they HAVE to like the other series. I really don't care whether or not Gene Roddenberry would have approved of it (as great a man as he was). He's dead now and Star Trek must evolve if it is to live on. That being said, I think DS9 is a very entertaining series, but I sure would not want our future to turn out that way

  • "I *believe* in an orderly world. MAJOR, SHUT THAT THING OFF!!!!" The Sisko: The Bestest Captain!

  • Sisko. The best Captain ever.

  • "LOCUSTS! They'll destroy Bajor, unless it stands alone!!"

  • These are hilarious clips! 5 stars. I like when Avery Brooks says "Earth's crust."

  • it all started while i was destroying the station lol

  • BEST CAPTAIN

  • @figgles hells yeah

  • Really good ep's whats the name of that bond ep again?

  • Our Man Bashir from Season 4.

  • Our Man Bashir, Season 4

  • some clever editing to make it look like sisko kills keevan

  • Yes. I liked that too.

  • Love it. Fair play to the poster.

  • he was great, but that couldn't act for shit

  • @pete275 well, all of them had bad acting moments especially william shatner. i think in terms of acting skills patrick stewart was the best, in terms of series importance will shatner's was the best, but in terms of character development and intrigue avery brooks' captain sisko was the best. just my opinion though

  • 3:51

  • LOL!

  • Loved this! Funny with great clips. Nice work!

  • My bad, I understand your point here. I missed the Parody part. It's all good fun. The last part of the video was very funny.

  • Whoops. Missed this one.

  • Some of this video has been edited and doesn't represent what really took place in the episodes. at 3:03 Sisko did not kill that Vorta. The Vorta surrendered and was takend prisoner. If you're going to make an argument, don't make up stuff.

  • I'm not making an argument. I just thought it'd be funny to make him seem even more over-the-top.

  • last minute was awesome

  • Wow. You completely missed my point. And it sounds as if you know nothing of the Trek philosophy. I never argued that DS9 isn't a great show. I just said that it wasn't Star Trek proper, which you erroniously equate to "crappy alien of the week shit." Star Trek, on a less supeficial level, is a morality play, a hopeful, utopian future for humanity with strong political and moral undertones. Its an intellectual, introspective show on a level that you seem to have completely missed.

  • Yes it was Star Trek proper, it was just that it was set on the frontier and the farthest reaches of the Federation. People were doing it fairly tough in a pretty unstable region of space.

  • DS9 had a lot of morality play as well. just a lot darker than the previous shows.

it dealt with war, genocide, enslavement, racism, religion, false flag operations, you name it

  • Roddenberry's vision of the future was optimism to the point of insanity or foolishness. There's no way in hell the human race will ever turn out right. The only thing I look forward to is seeing all humans die either in nuclear war or some huge global disaster. Evil, murdering, sadistic, primal BEASTS, all of us!

  • Now tell us what you REALLY think.

  • Yes, I think it's obvious I hate the human race. I'm going to get back to DS9. Your calling DS9 "not Star Trek" is insulting because it sounds like you're in denial of not wanting it to be part of the universe you want. (Really, all the easy solutions they find for troubles in TOS and TNG is just plain annoying.) DS9 is canon and millions of people will support this. It IS Star Trek. Accept that.

  • I understand that the writers wanted a darker captain (no pun) to complete their darker view of the Federation when they decided to cornhole Roddenberry's vision, but Sisko almost always dives off the deck of the USS Sanity to the point that it kills the Trek philosophy.

In the same way that a plot taking place in present-day Chicago doesn't necessarily mean that the story will be an "American tale," simply having the show take place in Federation space doesn't make it Star Trek.

  • While The Sisko may be very over-the-top at times, DS9 is the only Trek with any kind of emotion or interesting plot. It's not crappy alien of the week shit. I guess if you think that sort of thing is the pinnacle of Trek, well, it makes sense that you wouldn't like DS9. DS9 broke the mold and became something greater than just a remake of the original series with different characters and better costumes.

  • Amen brother! DS9 has always been my favorite of the Trek series, mostly because it actually has realistic darker overtones. Life isn't all exploration parties and first contacts you know. I was particularly fond of the Dominion war, as this illustrated how, even in the 24th century, human nature still remains fairly constant. Ever since Sisko's first experiences in the Cellestial Temple in the pilot episode Emissary, I've always found Sisko to be a much more identifiable character.

  • "Life isn't all exploration parties"

I disagree we explore our lives in either the same or similar sense that the trek characters explore space. Furthering our knowledge of the world we live in and learning something about ourselves in the process. I've always found much of trek to be a metaphor for life itself.

  • Hey come on dude I agree DS9 was pure brilliance but Enterprise and TNG were excellent as well.

  • Any kind of emotion? So you don't think episodes from the other series like "city on the edge of forever" or "the offspring" weren't emotional? TNG overall wasn't a remake of the original series it started out that way but once the good writers came on board it became it's own show. Star trek is not about the aliens of the week it's always been about the human condition.

  • pandagenma, wow. Based on what you said, you must have really HATED Star Trek before DS9.

"DS9 is the only Trek with any kind of emotion or interesting plot." Sticking just to TNG: Data creates and loses his daughter; Data meets his father; Data meets his "mother"; Tasha Yar is killed; Tasha Yar returns to die a meaningful death during the battle of Khitomer; the "Darmok" episode; Picard spends a lifetime living on an alien world slowly succumbing to a star going supernova, etc.

  • I don't know if the actor who played Sisko was just a bad actor or if he just didn't get it, but Sisko constantly overacts to the point of self parody.

  • he seems to be a weaker actor but maybe he's also channeling Kirk? janeway was worse

  • He has a history of stage acting. Does that explain it?

  • Steward and (I think) Mulgrew were both stage actors before Trek, so the fact that Brooks was a stage actor should be a credit to him. I was referring to his voice acting. Picard and Janeway were excellent voice actors, and knew how to channel emotion to their voices, but Sisko seems to just over-enunciate and yell. That's not good voice acting.

  • All episodes can be seen online if you dont mind japanese captions ! Just google full episodes DS9 .

  • Nice video, for REEEEAAAALLLLLz

  • the sisko is of bajor. and he is the bestest captain

  • "I suppose it went wrong two weeks ago when I was destroying the station"

  • Pure Genius.

  • is this ds9 ?

  • No, it's Homicide: Life on the Streets. Really, I thought the big space station would have been a dead giveaway.

  • @DestinedJedi87

haven't seen all the ds9 episodes back then, the different uniform color kinda baffled me.

  • I always preferred the more military look to their uniforms in the latter stages of the series. Really, it sets the tone nicely for the Dominion War.

  • Well the old Ben Sisco must have been abducted by his mirror universe counterpart. Hence his now full beard. ;)

  • He returned from the grave for revenge on the space station that got him killed! :P

  • And he's come with new Prophet kung-fu grip! Oh noes! :O

  • and they're RRRRRREEEEEEAAAAAALLLLLL!!!!!

  • jesus, sisko just hasn't been taking his medication lately has he? and he lost his all of his hair in two weeks? must be due to the stress of being an madman. lol loved the ending. 5/5
