Male seeds are bad, they grow into male plants that produce pods that fill with polen and eventually grows low grade product that has many seeds. Female seeds on the other hand, produce female plants that don't produce seeds, thus producing pure bud. When you find a good female keep her around, everything she creates, (cloning), will be a female as well. She will have the same genetics, ie White Widow seeds create white widow plants and every clone will be white widow.

None of it works for me except rock wool cubes in a clone dome but I really want one of these suckers to work out for me. Do you find that the clean razor blade is essential? That is certainly one thing I look over quite often. I use whatever scissors are laying around. I never do the extra slice either.

Also, what water temp do you aim for?

In other words, the largest, widest leaves have a greater surface area to over all cell volume than do smaller leaves. That being the case, they transpire more, which leads to more CO2 intake. This higher CO2 intake results in higher sugar production to sugar usage ratio. The more sugar the plant can crank out compared to usage, the more efficient the whole system is.

@dirtyprinztv - depends on what method of growing you are using, big plants or small single stalk (sea of green).. i personally take the top cutting (clone) from each plant when its large enough to do so, then i immed place that plant over to flower,,, wait for that clone to root, and repeat the process....
