  • Good Video Brother.

  • @lundyncanada Thank you VERY much!!

  • This is why it is important to live each day like it's your last... Thanks for the post...

  • @TheEasyOne15 No problem, thank you for watching and sharing your comments.

  • I can't believe it myself. Its said that Hev may have had walking pneumonia. With that, you just think its just a cold. Its said that he collapsed outside his home after returning from shopping. Someone saw him, called police, he was conscious and they called EMT's, took him to hospital where he passed away. Sounds like respiratory failure. A legend indeed. He made rap fun and positive, and I don't care for rap much, but Hev was my baby. I luv'd him. Thanks 4 posting.

  • @CharliGirl868 It's simply mindblowing, but Heavy D has been reunited with Trouble T-Roy, Michael Jackson, and Gerald Levert. He's in good company now. R.I.P.

  • This saddened me so much. This afternoon on the radio they said he had been in the hospital since coming from his overseas trip. He allegedly had pneumonia and had recently been released and had just returned from shopping when he collapsed. Oh and I agree with you about our men going to the doctor. So many of the men in my life will not go unless they get really, really bad. Not good at all. Again, great words of wisdom.

  • @soulfusion1 SMH....Thanks for the update. By seeing the large number of tribute videos on You Tube, it's obvious Heavy D was beloved as an entertainer and positive person. Heavy D didn't need to use the N or B word to sell records, and that's part of his legacy.

  • I still can't believe it!

  • @thruthealcove Kev, I played a mini Heavy D marathon on my Facebook wall last month. Everybody was jammin and thinking about the good times. There are folks who deny Heavy D's place in history, and are ignorant sheep, POINT BLANK. The man became a legend WITHOUT relying on the N or B words, and never disrespected anybody. Such positivity will NEVER be promoted by today's record industry and I'm THANKFUL to have been around when that wasn't the case. R.I.P. Hev!

  • @seand67 Wait, are you serious? We need to talk about this, cuz he put Mt. Vernon on the map!!! Who else famous from there??? That man made hip-hop history, almost all of his songs were hits, he did 2 versions (maybe 3, escapes my mind me at the moment) for the theme song to "In Living Color", he could dance his ass off, and he could spit without cussing, what's there to deny about his place there??? Some people just don't get it. SMH

  • @thruthealcove RIGHT Kev. Fans of today's 'hip flop' are ignorant droids who just don't get it, and some are even willing to fight for all the little waynes of the world. F*ck them....SERIOUSLY.

  • @seand67 Okay let's keep our comments ourselves now...

  • @TheUnbannableTroll Thanks for stopping by, but this is my channel. Now, with that in mind, what I said was the truth and will continue to call out those who embrace ignorance. Hip Flop is a bunch of bullsh*t point blank. There's a reason why a young wanna be Tupac is being shot every other day in America. These kids idolize ignorant Nigga sh*t that's promoted by the multi media and end up dying while talking about their 'swagg'...and new Air Jordans...LMAO!

  • @thruthealcove Not all good musicians make hit songs, if you want proof just look at lady gaga.

  • R.I.P. they will both be missed.

  • @kidstar88 Thanks for stopping by and I agree!

  • @MagGunz It's all good Bro. You're in a unique situation as a lot of people aren't aware (or could care less about) of diseases that are lingering within one's family. The important thing is that you're prepared for whatever happens. I also have a problem with the medical profession pimping us on various levels, but one thing that can't be denied is women are living longer than men for obvious reasons.

  • Very good advice man!

  • @NCGUY74 Thanks Bro. So many men are quick to don pink shirts and march for Breast Cancer awareness, and refuse to think about the many problems that affect them (Prostate Cancer, etc). Women are living longer than men for obvious reason(s).

  • @MagGunz Thanks Maurio. Be careful, try to eat healthier, and stay on top of any symptoms. Also, certain conditions & diseases have the ability to progress while 'under the radar'. You may not know something is wrong until the end stage of a particular condition when obvious symptoms take place.

  • It is important to get those regular medical checkups, and it is also important to get checked out if you are having problems. In addition to going to the doctor, I would say eat healthy foods, don't smoke, don't drink excessively, get enough sleep, exercise, and try to relax and manage your stress. Staying healthy takes some effort, but it is well worth it.

  • @blueBlackpurple Thanks, I've made a lifestyle change on several levels. Not only am I eating better foods, drinking more water, I've also gotten rid of people who brought nothing but negatvity to my life. Oh yeah, gotta minimize the stress too!!!

  • The only other place where I hear someone promoting going to the doctor is on the Tom Joyner morning show. He has his "Take a loved one to the doctor" season, Also, I think he has Doctor day on certain days on which he has a guest doctor on his show to talk about various medical issues.

  • @blueBlackpurple Thanks, that's good to know. Props to Tom Joyner for making an effort to promote Black Male Health Awareness.

  • Heavy D didnt need a Lil Wayne lifestyle...we as black men have too much pride in not knowing our health status...we would rather fix our cars than go to the doctor...we need to do better...like RIGHT NOW...(currently going to the doctor) so lets be more proactive about living a healthy life free of alcohol and weed smh...we dont need that everyday! RIP TO A REAL RAPPER!

  • @GManonLiVeForEvaonIT THANK YOU GMAN, and I give YOU PROPS for making changes in your life. The media and Hip Hop aren't going to promote anything positive and healthy, so at the end of the day all we have is each other. Peace
