I just love shoes that are out there to mean something. They come and make an impact, and leave with a punctual ending that just gets to you. You look back on it and see its message. I love music that you don't just listen to. I love music that you feel.

So each episode of Cowboy Bebop thrives on a point. On a purpose. On a story. And, it ends with such powerful, punctual music.

Cowboy Bebop is so awesome. Sci-fi mixed with western elements and a little classic Americana makes the series very unique. Feye has to be my favorite character- she appears completely ruthless and cruel, but you always find out that there's more to her than meets the eye. That being said I love all of the characters, its just such an incredibly well executed series.

Just a small thing worth mentioning. A lot of people think this song plays when Spike is doing his thing in the final episode but it doesn't. This song only ever plays during the credits. The song that plays during the episode is called "See You Space Cowboy." They sound similar so they get mixed up a lot, but they're both worth listening to.

Cowboy bebop is pretty much complete, they stablished a number of episodes that would take to complete the story and filled the rest of them with character development, so it's very tight, there's no episode wasted.

Also, pretty much everything is concluded by the end, there's no loose end (aside from the intentional Ed's one).

It's as close as it gets to perfection regarding storytelling.

You know what I love about Cowboy Bebop? Everybody is just a normal person; they all suffer from the "human condition". No one is an angel, they are people doing what they need to do to survive whilst struggling internally. There's things Spike's probably done when he was with Vicious that we'll never know about &they haunted him. When it comes down to it, Spike wasn't a "good person", and he didn't get a "good ending". But the series couldn't have ended any other way. It was perfect.

He was a mobster that became a bounty hunter after screwing over his friend. Vicious, though one of the characters that was truly a bad person on the show, was wronged by the two people he trusted. It's amazing how this one anime is better than what Hollywood has put out since sans The Dark Knight.

@Look2Good2Binnocent I don't know. I think Spike got the good ending. He had full resolution in the end. Every one who he truly cared about finally 'awoken' from the 'dream' they were all living in. Fay and Jet got shafted and little to no resolution than knowing they have nobody, but themselves. Jet found out his partner caused him to lose his arm and career, as well, his only love to run from him and Fay, after not having any memory of the past, finds only ghosts. Spike won in the deal.

I found myself wanting the ending to be different, it was an internal struggle, and I realized that anything else would have been wrong, it would have almost defiled the series had he lived.
