  • My Family has had Shar Pei for 3 generations (of dogs). This is the most useful advice yet. Rocco thanks you.

  • A lot of what vets do can be done by the average pet owner if only they would educate themselves, have the confidence, and refuse to believe their pet needs a veterinarian for general good health.

  • Your dog is beautiful. I have a horse coat sharpei. She looks kinda different to your brush coat. Sharpeis are just awesome dogs.

  • That scared me so much at 2:35 when the first jet of fluid came out!

  • That lady needs help holding the dog.

  • You should clean the ears after bathing. This helps to flush out shampoo and water from the bath. Be sure to finish with the alcohol vinegar drying agent so the dogs ears remain dry.

  • Very informative video and such a beautiful boy! When I get my shar pei I plan on bathing him/her and cleaning his/her ears weekly, should I clean the ears before or after I bathe?

  • Use only rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol), not the kind we drink (ethanol). You can get this at any drug store and most supermarkets.

The vinegar should be white vinegar.

  • @BagginsSharPei How much of rubbing alcohol and white vinegar do we use? Can you please give measurements? Or when you say 1/4 alcohol and 3/4 vinegar are you referring to cups?

  • Aww your boy is such a stunner! I love how he was looking at you in the end like " Was i a good boy mum " ..

Great video .. thank you for posting it!
