Lotfi's fingering is so in control that it reminds me of Ostad Bigcheh Khani. He does make a few errors but overall great playing. The piece by Marhoom Shahnazi, like many of his other pieces, and many pieces of that era, has a bit of non-persian or western influence and a bit playful. I would consider the composition of the zarbi a bit weak.

This masterpiece of maestro Ali Akbar Khaan Shahnazi can NOT be better performed than this. Who else can have such solid "Mezraabs" except maestro Mohammad Reza Lotfi?

Dear Theranprint, this masterpiece is not for maestro Mohammad Raza Lotfi. It belongs to his teacher, maestro Ali Akbar khaan Shahnazi, who was allways grateful for and pleased about this brilliant student.

@mohamshah104 Dear, ther is no doubt about Ali Akbar Khan's greatness. What I wrote was not just my idea. All the great and equitable musitions including Ali Akbar Khan approved Lotfi's greatness and ingenuity. Why should we Iranians get the applicability of the saying that "Ther is no good alive person, and no bad dead one in Iran?"
