Kanye's always had his ego issues, it's just apart of his personality, but what kept him grounded was his mama (many of us have mothers who bring us back to reality). I honestly believe when he lost his mom, he def lost a piece of himself...and his ego in return blew up beyond belief to sort of fill that missing piece. Losing someone close to you can change everything about you. And there use to be a childlike trait to him, from his ego to his giddiness. That's disappeared sadly; understandably!
