I am Georgian, this surgeon is Georgian(Bokeria is georgian last name, you are welcome to check it) Stalin, a men who made the Russia one of the strongest country in the world was Georgian, The most powerful King Russia has ever had, Peter The Great, was Georgian and many others, even this journalist is Georgian.. and guys can any one of you explain me what the Fuck do Russans want, why they invaded in Georgia august 2008, and why they want to destroy our nation....??!!
@JUDALATION Well there is no such thing as "best in the world." The best heart surgeon is the one that saves your life. If you had a heart attack and this guy was there to do the bypass you would obviously think he was the best because he saved your life. Other people who had heart surgery think the same about their doctor for the same reasons.
i'm from russia and believe me when i say that russia's health care system is a pile of cruel and crooked shit and a fucking disgrace to humanity. moreover, i absolutely agree with dcentral. lots of billionairs also come for example to germany in order to undergo surgery whilst normal people are treated like crap and probably end up dying. videos similar to this one are nothing but propaganda.
This guy is a fucking clown cause he will only see politicians. Shame on this doctor, this guy needs to get a fucking grip. If you're going to be a doctor do it for the sake of humanity not because money is your primary goal. How ironic would it be if this clown went bankrupt and needed heart surgery and he couldn't get a top surgeon because he couldn't afford it. Karma's a bitch, asshole. I am a medical student for the sake of humanity. PS: The best are American surgeons.
@ballsoffury4 He never said that he only operates on politicians. If you're really a medical student, then quit! The medical field doesn't need delusional fucktards like you.
Best surgeons are found in America. Russians fly here for top notch intervention. BTW, I lived in Moscow for 2 years so I'm very familiar with the medical attention Russians get on a daily basis. That "TOP" Surgeon will only see political patients and diplomats. How fair is that?
REMEMBER IF YOU NEEDED THIS SURGERY BEFORE THE SIXTIES IT WASNT AVAILABLE.The first coronary artery bypass surgery was performed in the United States on May 2, 1960, at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Bronx Municipal Hospital Center by a team led by Dr. Robert Goetz and the thoracic surgeon, Dr. Michael Rohman with the assistance of Dr. Jordan Haller and Dr. Ronald Dee.
GOD BLESS THOSE PIONEERS ( HEROS OF HUMANITY ) WHO MADE THE IMPOSSIBLE TO SAVE THE MISERABLE HUMANITY
And the heart is what keeps you alive. The heart is somethins i have always been fascinated and in love with because it can ache, it can feel love, and it can open up to God and just everything about it is awesome.
@carlyandoreo9625 Please do. I would love you for it, and I think the rewards of it to you would be mind shuttering. The people would be forever thankful to you. It would be just amazing. I'm experiencing some heart problems at 21 right now. And I am terrified about needing heart surgery. I don't know yet, but hopefully will soon find out and it's a really really scary experience. Any other organ doesn't beat and isn't as serious or doesn't seem as serious as the heart. :/ All the blessings to u
@carlyandoreo9625 Aaaaaarrrh :)) So YOU're gonna pay for the equipment and staff for those operations. Nice. That's soooo..... naive -_- Unless you're really rich.
@Stonefalconetti I didn't say that, but I believe there has to be some way to lessen fees a little bit. Some kind of arrangement you can do, or I can do what they do with those children with cleft pallets on their mouths. Doctors go on third world countries to operate on children for free, but amazing people donate money so that's how they are able to do that. I know it's a complicated process and I sound ignorant or whatever to you, but if there is a way to lessen the fees, then I will.
@carlyandoreo9625 Having lived in a 3rd world country, I agree with you on THIS point. To make a long story short, it's easier to do surgery for free in poor countries. In my home country, for eg, surgery in a public hospital is taken care of by the gvrnment. It's free for the local ppl but the govment has to PAY any foreign surgeon who wants to bring his experience (and that includes the ticket, hotel...). But in a rich country, a Dr cannot decide to go free unless he has money or a fund.
@carlyandoreo9625 (since only 483 chracters r permitted i haven't made myself clear in my previous reply). I meant, in a rich country, a doctor cannot suddenly decide to lessen the cost of a surgery unless some financial help is being given somewhere (which is not given to everybody). But, carlyandoreo9625, from the reply u gave me, I know u r not ignorant and u understand that.
@carlyandoreo9625 hate to brake it to you but IF(and thats a big if) you do in fact become a surgeon, the last thing you'll be thinking about is the patients ability to pay the bills. You'll be around 30(maybe older depending in what country you live in when you are done with your residency) and around $150,000 in debt (again, maybe more). You'll never get a say in how much the patients get charged, surgeons work for the hospital. My advice..stop dreaming about saving lives and finish high school.
@TheBlackbeltGorilla I respect the things you have told me and I will make sure to remember them, but I don't think it's right to tell someone to stop dreaming about something they are passionate about. That kinda hurt and I don't appreciate that.
He gives true picture of invlated boasting indian surgeons who like evrything think of themselves as No1 Ha Ha Ha If INDIA is no! why they need foreign country to train Its like a student coming home to practice no different than a mbbs doctor going to his private practice.
Why did Russia need the help from American surgeon Michael DeBakey to assist in Yeltzen's heart surgery when Russia has top surgeons and experts of their own?
but those doctors charge horrific fees, a building site labourer works hard too, these ppl are not gods, They are made gods, when ppl are afraid to say good bye to life,
and these surgeons feed off that fear and make millions
