One of the guards that patrols will go into the vault you enter if it is unlocked. Lock it so he does his normal path.

Here's how I did it.

1) Get amulet of shadows, and possibly another item that increases your camofulage

2)Get item or spell that can open up 100 locked door, also get probes

3)Steal everything

(Does not work for telvanni towers, you are fucked if you try this there unprepeared!)

Invis/Cham is a great way to go. Telvanni Tower in general is no fight=no loot unless you're a pretty good stealth character.

oh and the people talking about wild unlock are stupid too because that costs just as much as making your own solid 100 pts unlock spell that cost 60 mana and if u dont have that much then just get fortify magicka potions until you have enough money for enchant

Your alteration skill level needs to be around 70 or 80 to use that spell. Wild Open is almost a 100% chance to cast at 50, disregarding fatigue, you have no chance to fail. Here's the other funny thing here, you post on this video calling people stupid, but you can't even spell. And I'm pretty sure EVERYONE has done the constant STR/AGI enchants. I don't play with them because you effectively kill the difficulty curb. Have fun watering your game down there, cutie pie.

It is. Pick up the wild open spell, if memory serves me correct, it does not require a large amount of alteration skill. Alternatively get this key I show you in the video and clear the bottom level of the vault with it. After that, sell it (Mournehold if you have Tribunal) and train yourself in security with some of the gold you made. With a skill of 50 and a masters or higher, I think you will be able get by. You'll be confronted by the guards alot opening these, so leave stolen items behind.

You know you dont have to kill her. if she is in her room all you need to do is get in the way of the door and close it so it is blocking her sight from you. then you just open desk and get the key out. no one has to get hurt. :)

I found a way to get the keys to the hlaalu vault, but it's quite tricky .

You have to kill Baren Alen (one of the clerks, but you'll most possibly need him for hlaalu quests) and his body will have the key

(you won't see it while pickpocking, or at least I didn't). This will get you quite some ordinator attention.

The second key is on the ordinator between the doors (you'll have to kill him, so you'll get expelled from the temple, unless, I suppose, you frenzy him)

2.Don't have ordinator armor on period. Any type of it.

If you've ever had ordinator armour on and an ordinator saw you you're pretty screwed. Look on UESP and you might find a console code to help, sorry I don't know any.

When you cast mark, the game places a token there and saves that spot. When you cast recall, you will be teleported there. You can get it either as spell or potion, cheaper way is simpley spell if you can.

As for the spell, you can use the one I posted in the description as a make shift, but I reccomend a good one which i don't know at the moment. Most likely Alteration trainers. You could always pick lock if that's your fancy.

Creeper is in Caldera in Ghorak Manor. Mudcrab is down south in the wilds somehwere, difficult to find, look him up. Creeper has 5,000 gold and mudcrab 10,000, but, uf you buy stuff from them first, raise their funds up, then you can sell a more expensive item. then wait 24 horurs for the gold to regenerate and sell back the items you bought. Simple.

no you get it all back, you just have to keep watiting for 24 hours in between each transaction to make sure he has 5,000 each time, or keep buyinh stuff, raising his gold, then selling it back. I ttakes awhile, but you can sell any item to him and get full price without losing a penny

umm btw. i have the xbox version and watever but, I dont have to lock the doors. and my stealth is like 100. and my bounty is already like 867. anywayz. u can make an open spell at 100pts on touch for about 70mp costs, 400gp, and since my lvls high 189 chance.

and that spell opens anything locked.

I first heard about the key for the Telvanni vault was while I was doing quests for Ahnassi, the kajiit in the Pelagiad Halfway travern, she also gives other nice tips. also, another similar character in Morrowind is Ajira, who is part of the mages guild questline, she also gives nice tips, but only when youre high enough rank in the guild.

I also robbed everything from both vaults but i didn't kill anyone and wasen't gought for opening locks. I made myself 100% chamelion and used some spells to advance myself to 150 points for sneak. Then i just sneaked in, opened the locks and robbed everything in front of the guards eyes. I ended up with zero bounty.

I was so strong that I just killed the guards, took the keys, went into the vaults and killed the atranoughts and took everything I wanted. Of course I had a warrant, but I used a teleport spell, went back to Balmora, stripped off everything except my money, and surrendered to the guards and paid the fine.

or an easier way i did it is bribe them til 100 disp and then keep taunting they have a lot of stuff and ur gold too!!! the guards have indoril armor of course and they all have ebony maces sweeet so it doesnt go to waste also just mark the mudcrab merchant and recall there and do the trick to the mudcrab sell him cheaper stuff the first day and then sleep/wait 1 day and his gold comes back and buy the stuff back u sold and now he has more money then yesterday then use that to sell expensiveitem

Actually, it's nothing that 300 G cannot solve. If you are NOT a mage class, than this will certainly help. I'd say it's better than having to fight with poor equipment. The way you say it, leveling alteration is a pain in the ass. It's not, I got mine to 45 in 10 minutes on my rogue from 15.

A few things.. There's no reason to lock a door behind you unless you're gonna start a fight. The key you stole from the chick opens all of the locks in the Redoran vault which are above level 50, at least in the bottom half, in the top half it doesn't do dick. Also, you don't have to kill her to get it. The key for the first door in the Hlallu Vault is from Baren Alan standing right next to the door. The key to the second door is on the guard in the hall.

The reason you lock the door is to prevent guards from coming in. If you close it and leave it unlocked, they will come in and you will have to wait, why bother when you can just do a small spell?

Dude guards totally won't open doors unless you commit a crime and they see you. How are they going to see you? The only way a guard will come in is maybe if you rest or something... I can guarantee you 100% there is absolutely no reason to lock those doors.

Not only that, but kill the guards anyways! Their armor and weapon together are worth like 40k or something crazy. Just don't wear it around Vivec or you'll ruin your savegame.

1.Guard Patrol. When the door is unlocked, they will add that room to the patrol route.

2.Why bother when you can just cast an easy spell? Why waste extra gold on bounty when you can just lock the door and they cannot see you see shit?

3.You lock the door so the guard won't can come back in. He left the vault, and he will come back in. Leave that door unlocked, the guards will come in on their free will.
