I have a question? I don't get the last perk in bound weapon? What did it does?

@ThatDudd33 I think it says "your bound weapon will turn any raised creature and banish any summoned creature". This means that if an enemy necromancer raises a minion such as a corpse of a dead person/animal, you can make it fight for you, and if an enemy summons a creature such as an atronach, you can instantly make it disappear in one hit. This essentially counters enemy conjuration.

@FPSTactitcian im going for an imperial spellsword similar to yours, the bound sword and fast healing combo with a cloak close range and destruction spells for long range works extremely well at mid levels. the only difference is I wear heavy armor boots and gaunlets with archmage robes while you prefer light armor. is this build good enough at higher levels to keep?

@MarcelJ17 He is using lydia and also your armor is fine but the imperial isnt the best race because bretons get bonuses to magic and conjuration which is the spellblades main spell school

HI, great information i once used a claokign item that put on a fire cloak this item hurt my follower thus i lost interest in those spells assuming if teh item for it hurt my follower the spell must too u shown me it doesnt and i am thrilled cant wait to try this on my char now :D.

@MrInfectedCinema Spell Blade. Assassins can only sneak and sneak attack, mages can only cast spells, warriors can only fight, but the spell blade can use magic and fight.

Imperials are best if you want heavy armor, 1 hand, destruction magic, and high power gear quick (enchanting). I personally don''t like reducing the magicka costs to 0 but you could do that pretty fast with this build or just use destruction for range attacks while having good close quarters stats.

my character is a battle mage. i wear the nahkriin mask, the archmages robes, daedric gauntlets, daedric boots, amulet of talos and ring of hircine (its my plan b). i use a daedric mace in the right hand and the fireball spell in the left and i use the fire breath shout with all three words. i went into smithing for a little bit, and all of my gear is upgraded to superior. good build, yes?

What if your focusing more on melee or non magical fighting when your a spell sword?

@ThePlatinumLevel Then you probably should not be a spell blade. If you don't want to use magic much, just use traditional melee setups. I am assuming you want to use minimal magic? If that is the case then just play as a melee character and use magic when you find it advantageous to use. Just keep in mind that not using magic often will make it not as effective when you do use it. There are certain elemental shouts that act like destruction spells.

@bertkerstens Oh yeah you could max out all branches of magic assuming you just stick to one handed, light armor and those branches of magic, you could also probably get away with a few other skills as well.

@MrSolo734 Probably spell blade due to the versatility, you can learn any form of magic and use it well, while the foot soldier is limited to melee but can branch off into magic. The foot soldier is better in terms of simplicity, ease of use, and tactics, the spell blade requires more planning and can be more complicated.

I play as a Brenton for Dragonskin and I used light armour and alteration spells to give me a boost in armour. So far I love it, I've already killed the first dragon (from the storyline) and I never find myself running out of magicka even if I always spray my frostbite

Imperials make great spellblades bonuses in enchating destruction one handed and heavy armor makes them very good

I think runes suck; they take too much mana and are too hard to use on the move.

@jmasterflash29 Thanks, and I believe only certain spells are available when you reach a certain level in that branch of magic. Your main level may also affect which spells you can buy.

Where did you get the frost cloak spells? I can't find them any where D:

@xFlyCuts I got mine from the destruction store at the college of winterhold after I hit 50 destruction. They are adept level spells, if they don't come up just keep checking back with the store, I got them later on in the game. (level 20)

You could make a guide for a battlemage (It would more or less be a part 4 to this or an extension type thing.) like destruction magic, heavy armour, one handed (for war axes and stuff.)
