Acually, Aion is clarely based in Final Fantasy and World of Warcraft, plus their own work. And to be honest that's what makes Aion be such a good game as it is, even considering it's NOT as experienced as FF and wow, that it seems like noone remembers that.
Awsome game. & i like the Rpg with cutscenes and shiet in it. we left wow for this, and are pleased. the dungeons/instances & the world bosses and sieges are very funny. and finally some competition, not to easy not to hard. just right! if you havent tried it, there are trials now finally. got my 2 brothers to join with the trials. its 2 good to ignore

Game is pure awesome :D, My opinion. If ou Pre-Order it you can try the Open beta should be coming up soon in a week or so. It find something new and fun im a 4 year WoW player. and a Xbox 360 guy but this caught my attention. 1-10 Seems kinda boring but you level fast threw it. 10+ Where the real action starts. Also, has cut scenes with your char in it. Not a grinding game. :D

when i first saw that sword I was expecting everythingthing to go swirly and some iconic battle music to start. That's not a bad thing! I LOVE over the top Final fantasty/anime style weaponry in MMORPG's. it just makes it look more awsome
You need to plan your combo's better, like at least use the -Deff debuff ability on the mob before you execute your combo.. need to work on your skill. Sword isnt as usefull as polearm by the way, the crit rate with polarm socketed with crit is just too beneficial compared to the +accuracy and the like .2 less attack speed on sword. Especially when i can down a mob in 1 chain with a polearm. PVP is the same, you dont have 100% uptime on someone so the burst of a polearm is better.
Damare, nobody but elitists care about that, when you play a game it's for fun right? Then why care how well you do compared to someone else, as long as you're happy with how you play and look. Baka.

not able to move? check out the other videos. apparently, in Aion they need or should move because moving gives them bonuses when they run around like +evasion, +defense, +attk bonus. lol
All I see is static combat... can you actually move around WHILE you chain combos or you have to be in place? Standing still and button mashing require no skill whatsoever.
you can say that Aion looks like lots of MMO,the best ones, but it got all the best features from all of them, improved, and added some of their own, and remember the lore, the story of Aion is Amazing
If I want to be able to kill enemies without losing too much health, decent in pvp and looks sick in high level armor. What class would I want to roll?
a gladiator for sure. they look badass all the way through the game, rarely have to stop to regen health, are damn good in pvp, and have really cool looking skills..
Yeah gladiators are okay - I played one in the first phase of closed beta, I'll probably play on in the second phase. This guy in the video is kind of slow (in the head probably), but they can do a crap load of damage, and they are wearing plate so they have great defense. I had to regen health usually once every 3-4 fights depending on what I was fighting.
They definitely beat assassins, at least right now - assassins are horribly underpowered.

Uhm, no it doesn't. Wow has bright colorful and also dull graphics, and if your trying to say the game its self is like wow you're only 10% right. 5% being the way in which you move your character with w a s d and the other 5% being that you can travel via flight paths, not actually riding a winged creature.

and you use acton bars same social interacting same leveling system and you kill npc´s for stuff and level ups you can pvp and get weapons and armors and everything else thats in wow etc gloves boots helms.... the only thing thats really diffirent is as you say the graphic witch I said in my first comment on this and the angels and demon theme, this is a wow clone like it or not and arguing with me for another day isn´t gonna change that :P

Game is pure awesome :D, My opinion. If ou Pre-Order it you can try the Open beta should be coming up soon in a week or so. It find something new and fun im a 4 year WoW player. and a Xbox 360 guy but this caught my attention. 1-10 Seems kinda boring but you level fast threw it. 10+ Where the real action starts. Also, has cut scenes with your char in it. Not a grinding game. :D

but this mmo has to be the most filling MMORPG experince yet, it has the massiveness of the multiplayer and a great story(as i've heard) of a traditional RPG. either way, if you buy the retail for 50$ you get 1 month free, so its like any other game, u can finish the min quests and much more in that time. i bet

You need to plan your combo's better, like at least use the -Deff debuff ability on the mob before you execute your combo.. need to work on your skill. Sword isnt as usefull as polearm by the way, the crit rate with polarm socketed with crit is just too beneficial compared to the +accuracy and the like .2 less attack speed on sword. Especially when i can down a mob in 1 chain with a polearm. PVP is the same, you dont have 100% uptime on someone so the burst of a polearm is better.

it's not necessary to move around especially if its a melee character that wears heavy armor.

a gladiator for sure. they look badass all the way through the game, rarely have to stop to regen health, are damn good in pvp, and have really cool looking skills..

Yeah gladiators are okay - I played one in the first phase of closed beta, I'll probably play on in the second phase. This guy in the video is kind of slow (in the head probably), but they can do a crap load of damage, and they are wearing plate so they have great defense. I had to regen health usually once every 3-4 fights depending on what I was fighting.
They definitely beat assassins, at least right now - assassins are horribly underpowered.
