Jani is an 80's rock legend. Listen to him live and then compare his live voice to other 80's rockers live. Btw axle rose live is soooooo bad it hurts your ears. This guy is good but cannot compare to Jani's voice. Look up warrent I saw red live. Jani is about 10 beers drunk on that video and still sounds amazing

True warrant will never really be warrant anymore without jani, however we have to give these guys credit for still rocking and doing what they love and Jani's memory will always live on as long as they are out there singing his songs. Now if they are gonna do knew songs they need to change the name of the band and when they do Jani's songs they need to let it be know who they belong to, warrant, Not new warrant

well I feel they should change their name because it isn't Warrant. Warrant is Jani , Joey, Erik, Steven and Jerry and since Jani has been taken from us their will never be a Warrant Reunion so there fore I think they should stop trying to make money off the name Warrant do their own music and do a few Warrant songs live if the crowd wants to hear them.

Love Warrant, too bad Jani and the band couldn't work it out. Warrant will always be Warrant with Jani. With anyone else, no matter how good (Robert Mason has a great voice), Warrant will be the #1 Warrant tribute band.

First of all, Robert Mason is one of the greatest singers in the world, and anyone who says he sucks is a drooling moron. He was INCREDIBLE with Lynch Mob...but he is SLIGHTLY out of place here. He executes the songs perfectly, but I can see how the tonality of his voice might not go over well in some places with big Warrant fans. While he does have more range and versatility than Jani did in his prime, Jani's unique vocal sound was perfect for the band.

Still, Mason rocks.

Are these ANY of the original members? I know it's not Jani, but I hear he has some big problems to work through before given attention to anything in music. And I ask about the original members because without the 80's hair I wouldn't recognize them if they were there. :-)

Erik Turner & Jerry Dixon started the band in 1984; Steven Sweet joined in '86 and Joey Allen in '87.

Since I wasn't a Warrant fan in the 80/90s, my view is probably biased. But I do prefer all of these songs with Robert (especially this one). That said, I can understand why long-time fans would be disappointed not to have the original singer. However, I think we can all agree that Jani is in no shape whatsoever to be doing this, and it's unfair for the rest of the band to suffer. I do hope Jani gets his life together, because I know how hard it is to live life the way he is currently living it.

Vocals is the only member of the band that is strong since Jani's gone. Members in Solo projects of Jani are much stronger. Do you really want Jani to sing in Warrant?
