You CAN pray in schools. The ban is on teachers and the faculty from leading the school in prayer, or teaching religion. It would be grossly unconstitutional to ban prayer on public grounds.

It's funny that Victoria doesn't see the hypocrisy of telling a person to shut up about her experience with faith while she is a guest on an Evangelical program on a network devoted to preaching about the Christian faith.
Such nonsense is what Sweeny bravely stood up against when she spoke of her struggle against her childhood indoctrination. The real threat that Victoria's sponsors fear is the strong cathartic reaction that Sweeny's play has inspired in so many who have seen it.

I had to turn up the volume. I still like her comedy and she seems like a warm person. After seeing her on FOX news I find her politics to be nutty. She talks about Obama as a communist and says she read 1984 twice. It's fine to be conservative but she didn't make any sense. She was being reeled in by O'Reilly here. Anyway, I wish she stayed on SNL longer, but I think she is wee bit misinformed and nutty on politics.

With Victoria here, I think she isn't stupid, in fact let's assume she is VERY smart (smarter than I believe her to be), that makes playing dumb worse in my opinion. This song is satirical and GREAT, but her rants on FOX news are an example of unintelligent debate. In my view anyone who promotes stupidity is not doing a public good. I think it is pretty funny that victoria jackson has made something like a career out of being very clearly a christian, but ridicules an atheist for talking about how god isn't real too often. The song is call and response. If other people did not talk about god so often atheists wouldn't talk about his absence so often. The idea of the arrogant atheist is silly. People are arrogant. Christians believe that they are right about certain things. Atheists make no stronger claims.

If a person really did the research on Christianity, they would find that real historical facts do more to back Judeo-Christian beliefs than knock it. That doesn't mean looking at the ones that say "there is no God" and stop there. You have to do deeper research. For starters, 500 people saw Jesus alive, after His crucifixion. I truly believe that if Christ hadn't risen from the dead, then we would've never heard from these people again.
