That's wonderful for you guys for hating on a 14 year because he can play this song. If you can play the solo, then big whoop for you! Based on the comments I read, he's obviously not an experienced player, but he's learning and there's absolutely nothing wrong with not being able to play something. Enter Sandman is NOT the easiest or hardest riff to play, so shut up all of you!

Seriously, after Symphony of Destruction (which, btw, is a way better riff than Enter Sandman...), I learned this song from beginning to end, and learned the solo about a month ago. With all riffs combined, it only took me about 20 minutes to learn it all, and I've only been playing for 7 months.

there's no reason to dislike this. it doesnt QUITE have the same feel as Hammett does but it's a sound that almost impossible to replicate. he has a very distinct sound and feel to it. the tail of the solo should be swung a little bit more but other than that you nailed it. This is one of the songs that's always a staple in my band's set when we play out

@marisaMURDERER its actually not that hard, just break it down into sections and slow them down until you can play them perfectly, then speed it up with a metronome, then add a little wah when you got it down. good luck :)
