To all 3 users in the UK - If you have one of the Skype phones and havent upgraded the Skype you may be getting a text from 3 mobile soon stating that "from the 4/04/2011 Skype will no longer work on your phone and you will need a new phone that skype is compatible with". If your using the newer versions of Skype you should be ok for the moment :-(

The left and right buttons are made up of 3 seperate keys (top, middle and bottom). The top button on both left and right are Soft keys, this means that their function changes depending on what you are doing at the time. The buttons name is displayed at the bottom of the screen for each, and will change.

The bottom key on the set are call pickup/hangup, with the middle key being Menu and C (delete).

Very good demo and nice clear graphics and voice. But I wish someone would explain the first row of buttons more because I haven't seen one of these phones yet. What is the left key on the left button for, for example, versus the top and bottom key on the left button? Same thing on the right.

to be honest yearhh. i have this phone & i really like but there is only one thing that really dissapoints me and that thing is when you're playing music out loud the speaker aint that great. it has a really rubbish speaker but otherwise the phone is amazing .. :]

First 3 Skypephone s2 had TCP/IP errors. Just been sent another one. Got the same TCP/IP errors. One of their tech guys reckons they are waiting for AMOI to sort it. If it worked properly it/d be a brill phone.

Skype Calls actually don't use 3's data network, it just makes a call using a standard audio connection, so Skype will work fine if you lose 3G and fall back to a 2G network.

the phone has the features of the skypephone s1 except 3.2 camera instead 2.0 and it has bigger memory also it has dedicated buttons at the sides to access face book etc but you will need an add-on from 3 just go the 3's website or somewhere like Amazon for details

Nice looking phone actually. I have an iPhone 3G but I may buy one of these for the Skype and the fact you can use it as a mobile broadband dongle as well. Checked out your website and from the photos you took, it looks nice a really nice phone. I'm hoping the S3 if it comes out, will have a 5mp camera.

i had the original skype phone and it was great until it just stopped working properly and i started finding more and more problems with it like a film peeling off the battery cover.

I think this one looks better but i think that the software looks similar and the same problems i had with the old one would occur again.

I purchased an original skypephone and wonder if this new model is multiband ? I travel a lot to the USA and the original will not work there.

Also have you managed to answer the question regarding skype out ?

E.G. Can you call landlines and mobiles using your skype account ?

I have since picked up a nokia phone which runs FRING which does support skype, msn etc that does permit true skype out capability.

yes, Skypeout/Skypein works on this phone.

but only if you have topped up, once you have topped up you will be able to use skype and instant messanger for 30 days, and then you have to top up again etc.

I think you might have misunderstood...I mean can you call landline and mobile telephone numbers from within the skype client (if you have Skype call credit, obviously), just as you can on Skype on your computer?
