God works in mysterious ways - ever heard that before? it is the faith that will enable you to have any type of relationship with God. you were given a mind and ability to reason so you could make decisions on your own. these were God's gifts, but you are too blind to notice that.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. But all the evidence you would need to make your shit convincing is conveniently absent and we're supposed to take you at your word. A woman turned to salt? nope. Jesus's kiss cures leprosy? nope. Water to wine? nope. Crazy unlikely things happen all the time, but magic is never the explanation. I have yet to see anywhere where the laws of nature are violated.

@spikesmth you dont believe in miracles? Jesus' miracles were documented in the Bible by people who did not know each other and lived far away from one another. Plus, His miracles were documented outside of the Bible. Islam regards Him as a prophet. Judaism rejects Jesus b/c believing in Him as the messiah would (and did at some point) damage their own religion. Why? b/c He was the truth and the light. Bible is a historical document, not some kind of fictional book.

Contradiction: One of the most obvious of the ten commandments is "Thou shalt not kill" but it also says that you should take disobedient children to the edge of town and stone them to death.
If lack of evidence is disproving something then the bible by your on logic is disproven (there are plenty intermediary species by the way)

I agree with you spikesmth, but some people beleave both: they are religious and beleave in evolution. In my opinion that simply don't fit, because if the earth was 6000 years old (what the bible say's), then this timeperiod was to short for evolution. So how can someone beleave in both? Or did I miss a part off this film?

There are different reasons how come some people can accept both Christianity. Bultman says the bible is written by men and shall be understood hermeneutic (read Heidegger). That means that people wrote the bible as how they saw the world not as the world really was. That means the bible needs to be reinterpretated into the time it is read to get the correct meaning. To do that you have to realize the bible is meant to be talking symbolic. Bultman was part of the liberal theology movement.

The Pope simply redefined genesis by saying the bible says god made everything not exactly how he did it so evolution is the tool of God. Judas died by hanging himself and later on his body fell and split open. Whatever he hung himself on broke, either tree branch or rope etc. No contradiction.
As for Jesus' Genealogy, no contradiction either.
Luke's genealogy starts at Adam and goes to David. Matthew's genealogy starts at Abraham and goes to David. When the genealogies arrive at David, they split with David's sons: Nathan (Mary's side) and Solomon (Joseph's side).
