@PR0UD2BEBR1TISH eve is a bit diffrent to your standard linear wow game play, the ship is just a shell that a charecter wears. the more skilled a charecter the more sophisticated the shell ;) you should try the free trial so you get a feel for the scope of things. eve is one epic mmo to say the least. i wouldnt be surprised if you stop playing wow once you try it.
That particular titan they're shooting at is just a NPC structure, so you can shoot at it but it won't shoot back at you - thus there's no actual owner on that one. EVE by now has around 400 Titans so I guess if someone would lose one he'd just jump into the neXt within the alliance ;)

speaking of homeworld... ccp would improve the game ten fold if they'd incorporate the homeworld 2 way ships explode....talk about eye candy. ..and if you've never seen the "complex 7.4" mod for HW 2 they are even more incredible....HW 2 ftw!

Its a not playable highly adveced race in EVE. Most of them got wiped away by the "deathly Jovian disease" they caused by "playing" with there DNA to much.

I wish they'd have more things like this in game, so that you actually get to see the politics of the story being carried out and it feels more like one universe of people and the stories.
You know, randomly spawning some NPC ships in (enemy) hisec and seeing them battle would not have been so bad... Would certainly make the war feel more... warish.
If they don't want to affect gameplay, they could always make the NPCs not target players, unless the player shoots first =P
ok to start to the price? you cant really buy a titan, you have to build it, becuase its CANT enter in station
but in material value and skill its would have been around 10 bllion and a good 1-2 year skill training
module its around 200 million only for the doomsday weapon ( approx maybe cheaper maybe more expensive ) and al lthe rest can go up for a good 100 million to 500

It's not that they've made it easier, it's just over time there's been more and more people now able to build a titan. They're still as costly and difficult to build; but there's a lot more players who are wealthy enough and have the skill points now to make and fly one.
Also, agreed on the stupidity of flying it into 1.0 Gallente space.

I've played this game about 3 different times. It is so beautiful and well done. It (the game) is truly a work of art. Nice choice of music (Adagio for Strings). Same music was used for great effect in Platoon (made a huge impression of me as a young man). 5 star vid.
Also wonderful song, yes, and it's good to see so many people like it... but it was written in 1936, so please stop crediting video games and films! It doesn't "come from" anyone but the composer.

@GunmanTheH DDs are no longer AoE weapons. The new DD only hits 1 target doing approx 2 million racial specific damage.
But the cooldown is 10 minutes IIRC so it'd be a complete waste to use it on anything smaller than a BS.

You know, randomly spawning some NPC ships in (enemy) hisec and seeing them battle would not have been so bad... Would certainly make the war feel more... warish.
If they don't want to affect gameplay, they could always make the NPCs not target players, unless the player shoots first =P

ok to start to the price? you cant really buy a titan, you have to build it, becuase its CANT enter in station
but in material value and skill its would have been around 10 bllion and a good 1-2 year skill training
module its around 200 million only for the doomsday weapon ( approx maybe cheaper maybe more expensive ) and al lthe rest can go up for a good 100 million to 500

The music is Adagio for Strings, by Samuel Barber. It was used in Homeworld too but it didn't originate from there.

It's not that they've made it easier, it's just over time there's been more and more people now able to build a titan. They're still as costly and difficult to build; but there's a lot more players who are wealthy enough and have the skill points now to make and fly one.
Also, agreed on the stupidity of flying it into 1.0 Gallente space.

I've played this game about 3 different times. It is so beautiful and well done. It (the game) is truly a work of art. Nice choice of music (Adagio for Strings). Same music was used for great effect in Platoon (made a huge impression of me as a young man). 5 star vid.
