The key is to FEED the ants the borax. Mix it with sugar in a jar. Let it set for a while, The borax will take on the scent of the sugar so much so that the ants will not be able to tell the difference. Thy will feed this mix to the Quee. and she will die.

Agree cakedecorator! You HAVE TO try Orange Guard Home Pest Control! It's really effective and a great alternative to toxic chemicals. Trust me on this one!

What if you have pets or small kids? You don't want ANYTHING that will harm them, so go to ACE Hardware to buy Orange Guard..and the Vinegar DOES not work

Isn't there a way that I can apply an essential oil around the outside of my property like the pest control companies do that will keep the ants from building nests in the walls of my home.
I googled it and bought it off a site that sold it.. it is NOT cheap but wow it worked. In less than 24 hours the ants were GONE.. and then after a few days no ants around. I got my home back lol. Google KM Ant Pro... works awesome.

a gallon of boiling hot water wipes them out, too. Pour it right down their hole. Kills on contact, no toxic mess after.
