Suppressors (silencers) DO NOT REDUCE RANGE! They only reduce damage. IW only said that they did. For example, if I had a perfect aim and shot you from across the map in the face on hardcore mode, it would kill you. The little stats or the guns are shit.

It sucks because the shot dosent take skill and all you have to do is wait for the wind to die down. I wish they made a extra level that's hard or some level that required real sniping skill. I mean, like really take in all the affects, wind, temperature, humidity, bullet drop, cross winds(tricky), elevation, and bullet spin, depending on the gun you use.

At exactly 0:34 , when Zakhaev puts the case on the table , you can take a clean shot on him (make sure you check on the flag , there is a 1-2 second window) , I took him out every time and it was perfect !

For anyone wondering, when MacMillan says "you'll also have to take the Coriolis effect into account", the Coriolis effect is where everything going fast over far distance always swerves to the right, because the earth is constantly rotating.

For instance, if you are facing north, the bullet will be left of where you aim. Thus you have to aim where your target it going to be when the bullet arrives. Think about it as being on opposite sides of a spinning mary go round and tossing a ball to the other person.

This is by far the most unrealistic mission in the entire CoD4. At 896.1 meters, the Earth would have been rotating at approximately .289 Miles Per Sec, and should you take the Coriolis Effect into play, the target would've moved approximately 1547feet with a 1.1 sec. flight time. If you aim directly at the target at that range, you would've missed completely and hit one of those buildings to the right: Aiming almost due north. Great concept, inaccurate mathematics and ballistics.

kinda hard (but beautiful) that Activision to put all these elements in this game (think of the bumping carts, and the ferris wheel when you have to defend your spot... Those elements are also real in Chernobyl, Activision even made pictures of chernobyl, and put those pictures into 3d-objects, and put them in-game! =)

I will have you know it's not that easy, first of all. If you didn't pick up an automatic weapon in the previous mission, you have the sniper rifle and your pistol. So you have to take out the large amount of guys by the bus with that, while dodging grenades and killing the dog. And when you get into the open, you are likely to be killed before you make it to cover.
