@uddaside That's ridiculous. once you start to really study all the aspects of martial arts from the viewpoint of a student gaining knowledge of what's being done in every position (standing, guards, passing guards etc..) watching 2 guys stand & trade punches until some1's asleep will just seem ignorant. Striking is only 1 area of the game, it's not all the sport's about. If you only watch MMA to see KOs, i recommend K1 or boxing, because MMA's much more advanced than just banging fists to faces

Hendo is the man. Not really because he is the best fighter around, just because you know he is gonna show up and go for it. And I honestly cant remember a fight that he lost where he wasnt winning at some point. I like him at 205 more though. No weight cut so his cardio doesnt take a hit and gets to beat up bigger guys. As far as the Fedor fight, my brain says Fedor, but if Fedor cant learn to fight a little more... calm, Hendo could pull it off.

Other than that I see no reason for Hendo to get paid to get into a ring (40 years old) and facing fighters 15-20 years younger & possibly suffering a career ending injury (All fighters face but at 40 the risk is far greater) & still spanking the shit out of most of them. Dana White= cheap fuck. The fighters take all the risks= They deserve more money.

He was offered MORE $ @strikeforce, his negotiations w/the UFC weren't to his liking, & he wanted 1 more run at a title which he didn't see happening w/the direction DFW & the UFC were pointing him in, so he chose to jump on the #2 show in MMAs bandwagon. @uddaside That's ridiculous. once you start to really study all the aspects of martial arts from the viewpoint of a student gaining knowledge of what's being done in every position (standing, guards, passing guards etc..) watching 2 guys stand & trade punches until some1's asleep will just seem ignorant. Striking is only 1 area of the game, it's not all the sport's about. If you only watch MMA to see KOs, i recommend K1 or boxing, because MMA's much more advanced than just banging fists to faces

It's all good now, I mean I'd love to see him fighting in the ufc, but the mw division of strikeforce Is getting pretty good, and there are some fun fights in there for hendo. Hendo vs mayhem, jacare Souza, Kung le, & Scott smith are all guaranteed crowd pleasers, and lhw division isn't terrible either.

His next fight will be a strikeforce number 1 contenders match with Renalto Babalu Sobral in December 2010. Dana white stated in an interview after henderson signed "Hendo will never work for UFC again." So get used to the idea that the remainder of Hendos career will be spent fighting 2nd tier no name or has been fighters, and 1 of the greatest of all time to dissapear into mma obscurity.

After reading all of these comments it's clear that half you assholes have no idea WTF you're talking about. Anderson and hendo already fought, hendo lost 2nd round to rear naked choke after being nearly KOd. Henderson then signed with strikeforce after not getting a rematch with silva, but instead dfw gave the title shot to belfort, whom Henderson has a win over. Hendo lost his only fight in strikforce to Jake shields, who would sign with ufc immidiately afterward.
