@ZzRvXzZ I hear ya man and am sorry about the need to protect my identity..... for fear of job loss. The main point was that here in the USA, as it is our right to own and carry firearms, people should do that. Those who hate firearms, must not try and fuck with the right to do so, because when you have one right taken away, its only a matter of time until a right that "you" value is removed as well. That was the jist of the message.
@ZzRvXzZ I shared that exact opinion for a long time. I have conceal carried for years and would not want to give up the hidden "Ace", so that I can get the upper hand quick if needed. But... after really listening to those who OC and why they do it, I get it now. 1st... some states only allow open carry & its almost impossible to get a CCW permit, California is one example. In that case, better to have an open/unloaded gun with ammo handy, then no gun at all. Continued.......
@AmericanSitRep Part Two... They also feel that it is educating the sheeple (public) that everyone with a firearm is NOT a criminal. It sucks to have to do that, but I see the need in many places. I am in Virginia, where anyone over 18 can get a CCW and/or open carry fully loaded. many OCers here do it to educate the public & the police and remind them that our rights are sacred. That really is very important, as the libs try to do away with one at a time. I hope that helps U understand.
well im concerned, if you speak to the police then you are waiving your miranda rights and you are opening your mouth and allowing the officer to search you for what they may perceive as criminal intent. However this is an open discussion and varies state to state so lawyers judges what are your perspectives on flexing your right to remain silent when when a patron open carries a firearm and they are justified within their own state?
@gunitup234 Hmmmm, well... you are not waiving your rights by simply speaking. remember, you can invoke your miranda rights at any time. So I am saying use great caution with what you say but don't just sit there silent. That is provocitive in any setting. "I am carrying for my own protection, I do not consent to a search, I do not want to provide I.D." That kind of thing done in the right tone (I believe) goes a lot further with education all involved while still protecting your rights.
i can't understand what you're saying because of the voice effect mate....

@AmericanSitRep I agree with you that everyone should be allowed to have a gun...
