@Tunerdude94 He was shifting because the charger has a B&M ratchet-shifter, once you slot it down into 1st gear it will not change gear on its own, you kinda shove it forward but the shifter never changes position it slaps back into place once the pressure is off. My firebird has this shifter, it is a 3spd auto, so when i slot it down i do it twice to get to 1st gear, after that if i want to go back into D, then i have to manually shift twice then it can be driven like an automatic.
