I graduated highschool this past year - but have always struggled in Math, I'm in college now, and am required to take Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 - in all honesty, I haven't touched stuff like this since the 3rd grade, and was having a really rough time with it ... that was ... until I saw this video. Thank you so much.
Thankyou soo much!!! i was having so much trouble getting long division around my head! and this really helped....stilll don't like long dovision though ;)
@PulidoTheOne117 Good question:) It's a bit tough when you're dividing a number by a larger number, but the process starts out really similar to what you saw in the video. So you start with 96/278. Now do you know how to take it from there?
@luvmyPT92ss What part is most challenging? We've got other video tutorials to help you with this. Perhaps seeing long division without decimals first would help?
Thank You So Much :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been looking everywhere and can't find a real explanation of
the "long division" algorithm. I can of course use this algorithm (I
learned it looooong ago in elementary school) but what I'm asking you
is to "re-invent" this algorithm. I find it very confusing to know
that it works but not know why, and i'll bet you don't know either ;)

@TheMontyro34 she didn't make any mistake. That's why her answer is correct.
