We regularly deworm our dogs and cats, but we don't deworm ourselves. What is wrong with this picture? Why do most people in the US believe that we don't have parasites here?
The symptoms of disease caused by parasites can be treated with prescription drugs. As the root cause of the disease is not removed, the patient continues to take the drugs and big pharma gets bigger.
There is some evidence that most if not all disease can be tied to some type of parasite.

Science may be able to extract certain constituents of a plant, but they cannot reproduce the entire plant, which many times contains other chemicals that work in synergy with the extracted chemical. People who can't take aspirin also can't take white willow, as you say. That's not because there's anything wrong with the original; it's because they are sensitive to the the acid. Btw, herbalists are far from being "new age kooks".

And actually, some tests *will* reveal parasites, given that the tests are performed at the right time, which they usually aren't, thus being inadequate. The main problem with dx being that, just like with nutrition, parasites are basically the last thing a doctor thinks about. They don't teach thorough parasitology in med school.

Plants have been used for medicine for *thousands* of years, and BP has only been around for less than 200 years. @healingchannel1 REAL medications don't just have their place, they should have the ONLY place. Alternative herbalism is a failed road; all the simple things have been tried, often from New Age thinking that has nothing to do with real biochemistry! Chemicals are not just isolated, but CHANGED.
And sometimes with the alternative herbalists you don't even survive, like the Dolomite Poisoning that happened through health-food stores in the 1970's! Haha, try to explain away THAT one.

The thing with parasites is that it could stay in your system for a very long time sometimes years with out being detected and of course they are developing in your system antiparasites can kill the bacteria but the doctor needs to know exactly what parasite is in your system and it takes a long time to find out thats how quiet they are
