Great idea, you might want to buy the seeds the first year and then save them. Hybrids might not give you the plant your looking for in the next generation try the open pollinated type.You have got me interested in this, my garden catalog is selling these seeds at 4 to $5 a packet.

You're a sweetheart but two corn plants are not gonna grow corn. You have to have at least 4 rows of corn before the kernels will be polinated and actualy grow corn, as my son just learned for himself this year, he only had a few plants and empty cobs. You also cant depend on the squash and mellons you grow that was because some of them are hybrids and if they are their seeds won't set fruit. Just wanted to let you know. Gardening is really fun though keep it up.

What I dont understand is where do you get the Idea to grow so many things, and leave out the coolest plant of all? Marijuana, is not only cool, and gives you a good buzz, but its also really good for ya. It will nourish the birds you and your soul. You dont even have to go to the dumpster to find seeds, just go to your local drug dealer, for example me, and get some high quality herb and then your already to step 3 plant it the rest of its cake man common..

Try growing just tomatoes and marijuana plants. They are really cool and you can get you a buzz before you eat your tomatoes. Be sure not to let anyone tell you this is not a good idea. You might could be a farmer and an herbsman!

isnt most of the produce in stores GMO? if thats the case..i'd invest in non GMO seeds..GMO is poisoned at the genetic level to kill bugs etc..and the genes randomly mutate each generation...heirloom seeds guys..thats what u really need..not monsanto mutants

Thanks for sharing! I really Like your garden. It may not be a good idea however, to grow Mangoes too close to your house. I think they give off poison when they are ripening. You don't want to breathe that in. Lovely Garden. It's cool that you are growing some unusual things like Papaya. I plan on trying to grow pineapple in my greenhouse maybe next season. Papayas need at least 4-5 feet distance from each other, so as they grow they can receive full sun and more sun when they start producing fruits. Consider planting not-full sun needed vegetables under neath papaya plants. It is not a good idea to plant tomatoes, peppers and other full sun veggies under a papaya. But most important...whatever u plant needs to be ready to crop in less than 6 month or you'll never get to harvest papayas without damaging plants underneath it :)

Try growing your own Cilantro. I put it into my omelets, stir frys & pico de galo. Cilantro is awesome.

The problem with getting your seeds out of dumpster is you have no idea what those hybrid seeds are going to produce. Either by new hybrid seeds each year or order some heirloom seeds that are know to produce good fruit & veggies.
