tetras is best

cardinal tetras with alot of plants .. but u need lots of lightning and co2 and fertilizer.

if u find them troublesome, then keep a family of corydorus :D

no i did not mean that i mean i saw mostly planted tank they use external filter actully if make a planted tank with a 4ft tank waht dam nice man so did u aquaram i going so where u stay

oh that !... i using " low-tech" aquarium now. which means i dont have proper co2 and external filter etc..

i stay near sch..

this tank is how many ft normally they use external filter for this type of setting is it really needed a filter

yea, im using a filter "DYNA" ( jap brand)

my tank is custom made so, the filter size is not fit properly to the tank..

thus i encourage not you not to custome make your tank.

great tank,what's your secret for growing the moss on the wood like that?

1)buy a small bunch of moss first.

2)tie them onto the bog wood using wires

3) add liquid fertilizer once every 2days 15ml

4)add CO2 tablet once every 2 days..

5) give them lighting 10hours

6) becareful of siamese algae eater and amano shrimp.. too many of them , they will destory your moss

7) 1 month later u get twice the amout u bought !
