@frankisfunny2007 Actually Dave recorded on some of the songs on Kill em all his credits run on "The Four Horsemen","Jump in The Fire",Phantom Lord,and Metal Militia.To this day whatever profit Metalica makes off of this album they have to pay Dave some of that percentage.He also is crdeited for songs on the RTL album,they have to pay him for that as well.

Dave may have co-wrote songs on this album but he did not play on this album. Dave was fired in April of 1983 and this album was recorded in May of 1983 with Kirk on guitar. What you hear is all Kirk and not Dave.

Randy Rhoads** and dave mustaine had his own style plus theres no one who likes just one guitarist people are influenced by varietys of guitarists though he couldnt amount to what randy had did he was starting his own genre with metallica which basically was thrash no other band was playing thrash metal only 2 bands at the time who were playing thrash back in the early 80s were slayer and metallica so basically 2 different styles randy = "heavy" metal and dave mustaine = "thrash" metal u get it?

Almost every solo on KEA is Mustaine's but writing solos don't exactly mean you should get credit for writing a song should it? Just because it says on the back of an album that a musican does not receive credit doesn't mean they didn't play an important part in making it. You think Metallica could've made a song as eerily beautiful as sanitarium without Cliff? Fat chance because everyone in Metallica gets credit but him yet it was his influence upon the band that helped write it.
Dave Mustaine did write a bunch of the kill em all leads if im correct. He has like 1 or 2 credits on Ride The Lightning and none on Master of Puppets.
alls i gotta say is dave only wrote 4 songs off this album. and believe me when i say this, i know my metallica. anyways he only wrote 2 song on rtl and helped co-write 2 on that album as well. then he wrote the solo for lepper messiah. thats it. he is credited way too much. he didnt do as much as most modern day metallica fan (most of you guys i'd bet) say he did. hes still good though.
he caused too much trouble at the producer of the album's place, Johnny Zazula or something, and he basically would be too rough with everybody like punching and head locks on them and shit, his addictions were worse then the whole bands addiction combined. @Harstartheguitarist well what makes metal better? the talk of rampant drug abuse? the constant paranoia? rap is IMO the most inventive style of music because it can be done in different ways and can tell you more about any artist than any other music genre. metal bands talk about the same exact things as rappers (see Quiet Riot's lets get crazy) so dont act like metal is morally righteous

Randy Rhoads** and dave mustaine had his own style plus theres no one who likes just one guitarist people are influenced by varietys of guitarists though he couldnt amount to what randy had did he was starting his own genre with metallica which basically was thrash no other band was playing thrash metal only 2 bands at the time who were playing thrash back in the early 80s were slayer and metallica so basically 2 different styles randy = "heavy" metal and dave mustaine = "thrash" metal u get it?

Almost every solo on KEA is Mustaine's but writing solos don't exactly mean you should get credit for writing a song should it? Just because it says on the back of an album that a musican does not receive credit doesn't mean they didn't play an important part in making it. You think Metallica could've made a song as eerily beautiful as sanitarium without Cliff? Fat chance because everyone in Metallica gets credit but him yet it was his influence upon the band that helped write it.

alls i gotta say is dave only wrote 4 songs off this album. and believe me when i say this, i know my metallica. anyways he only wrote 2 song on rtl and helped co-write 2 on that album as well. then he wrote the solo for lepper messiah. thats it. he is credited way too much. he didnt do as much as most modern day metallica fan (most of you guys i'd bet) say he did. hes still good though.
