I don't think it's very "Christian" for the makers of this video to use a song that they have not secured permission from the artist to use. Sigur Ros very rarely license their music for these types of things and I feel certain that they would NEVER allow their work to be used in conjunction with a religious message. Make your own music.
@desumel If GOD is perfect, then why did GOD create an imperfect creation? If I were perfect and OMNI GOD, I would create everyone and everything perfect like me, this way no one could ever sin, and the animals and plants wouldn't even suffer either. I would even make non organic delicious meals for everyone without even having to kill anything, including plants. I would literally make one big loving family for the eons of the eons, and once earth got populated I would make other's to travel to.
Because God loves us he made us free, if he had done all you propose in your comment we would be like robots, not feelings, not anything. and to make us happy he sent his son who showed us the right way so that if we CHOOSE to we will follow and find real happiness in him.
@yahokobbenyah You are completely missing the point. When God created Adam and Eve they were "perfect" but by human nature they sinned. God has a plan for everything if everyone was perfect there would be no reason for Heaven, or for Jesus to die on the cross and save us from sin. God made everything for a reason. All we can do is trust that God has a good plan for us. We are a family we are all brothers in sisters in Christ. One day his followers will be a family w/out sin, in Heaven, with God.
@27AlexN Where would you surmise that from? I could say that tuna salad is the best food on earth, but that doesn't mean I worship it or think that it is a god.
@bryan12294 You are absolutely right bryan. Forgive me for my quickness in commenting. I too, like many things and would never equate them to God or knowingly make them the object of worship.
Here's a revelation for you (and I mean this earnestly):
How about instead of being good for fear of hell or in your attempts to get a reward (heaven) do it for its own sake. Let's be good because it's the right thing to do. Let's be good because it's easy and it makes life better for everyone.
Why is God so obsessed with humans worshipping him?
Also, AstoundedAtheist hit the nail on the head ... You know the end was supposed to come in the life time of the people who were alive at the publication of Revelations, right? That invalidates that claim in the book, because it never happened! Well, if you take the book seriously in the first place ...
@AstoundedAtheist comments like that are so bordered. If you had read the Bible you would know about the signs, that 'near' is not simply near. It is not as simple as watching one verse on YouTube. See the various books as chapters. You will realize how foolish it is to read one page and think you know what's the whole book about. You would also know that a 1000 years for man is only one day in God's timeline. So 'near' is not your definition of near. It is God's.
Also, as ReasonTakesMe stated below, "...the end was supposed to come in the life time of the people who were alive at the publication of Revelations...". This (IS) in the Bible. In fact, Jesus himself said this. Don't believe me? Go check for yourself... I'm sorry to say, Jesus was wrong and is not "God", he is no more real than Zeus, The Easter Bunny, Santa, or Big Foot. He lives only in the imagination of humans.

You've taken Sigur Ros, the greatest band of the past 2 decades, and defiled one of their greatest songs.

"The end of all things is near"
When was the book of Peter written again?

Hello, just for clarity, I have read the Bible. The Bible never defines what a "God year" is. Why would you assume that I've never read it?
