  • best house ever

  • @sheildflame Thanks!

  • Wow! That's a massive project. Must have been quite tiring. Worth the effort though. Looks great.

  • @TheTimeLapseGuys Thanks! Yes, I'm very happy with how it came out. By the way, awesome videos! I subscribed.

  • Can you build this for my hamster?

  • @SimTune I don't build requests, sorry. I'll be starting my next house this week. I just sold a tiny house for $50.00. I didn't actually give it to the guy yet though, if you want to bid higher. It's just a tiny little thing, there's pictures of it on my FB page 'themrfinneth'

  • You spent so much time putting in floor joists and wall studs that would just get covered up, but you didn't put in windows or paint it? I mean, it's really cool and amazing and everything, but the work that went into it doesn't equate to the awesomeness of the finished product.

  • @punctualbird Well, why do they put wall studs and joists in a real house? For support of course. Those are what make the house strong. With out the studs/joists, the house wouldn't have any structural integrity. Also, I want to be an architect so it's good experience for me

  • @TheMrFinneth Oh, if it's educational then that makes a difference. Otherwise, you could just cut the walls, floors, and roof components out of a solid panel with a jig-saw. Houses are also made of concrete - so a solid panel cut-out wouldn't really be cheating - just a thought. That may also be educational in the sense that your future creations need to be efficient and cost-effective. I wasn't trying to knock you or anything... good luck in architecture!

  • @punctualbird Yeah that would be possible and would save time, but I think it's boring. I'm interested in home building, and this is how I'm used to it being done. And thanks! I'm only 15 and am doing this stuff for fun now, but in the future I plan on becoming an architect or an engineer or something of that nature

  • @TheMrFinneth Oh you're 15? Ok, your project officially rocks then! Ever think about including some electronics, like LED lights? You could also include a bathroom - start thinking about plumbing and stuff like where air-conditioning should go. I'll tell you one thing, BE AN ENGINEER!!! I wish someone told me that when I was your age. Travel the world, build bridges, make a fortune, and then come the women (start thinking about them, too)! Good luck! :)

  • @TheMrFinneth Oh I just saw you do have some electronics going on in there. Nice work!

  • @punctualbird Yep :) I have a tour of the house on my channel. It plugs in to the wall and theres a light switch in each room.

  • how tall and how wide are your windows and doors

  • @movieman5781 I don't remember but the scale is 1/24 so you can figure it out

  • What scale is the model?

  • @jthulan 1/24

  • what did you use to cut the sticks?

  • @PoppinYums "anvil cutters"

  • This is amazing!

  • @Neizer915 Thanks! :)

  • how long did this take to build?

  • @mira750 All the info is at the end

  • This is incredible. You really should be a carpenter.

  • @jimemarsden Thanks but nah, I'd rather be something like an architect or engineer

  • this has nothing to do with carpentry :P cept that popsicle sticks are wood

  • @paperNATEman And except for the fact that I'm building a house the exact same way builders do.. lol.

  • you should have saved all the rounded ends of the popsicle sticks and used them as shingles for the roof! hahaha great job tho! i enjoyed watching your video :)

  • You have inspired me :DNow im being mentored by an architect

  • @Andy303theking Awesome!

  • @TheMrFinneth have u acualy built a house out of your own plans?

  • @Andy303theking I take an existing plan and modify it, so yes and no

  • @TheMrFinneth do you have any tips for me?

  • i wath this video all the time cause i like the music

  • @TheAdrianinator Lol. I've honestly watched this video at least like 10 times, not sure why I like it so much. I found all of these songs on youtube, if you're interested. Somewhere in the comments I listed the names.

  • lol. i wish i had enough patience to watch this whole video! awesome job.

  • @crzyboutgerbils32 I made a short version of this video for people like you :)

  • From Slovak TRee : You Are GOD Man !!!! Cap Down :D :D

  • you are really talented! i am going to try to make a wooden house soon, but out of balsa sticks and sheets if i can buy some for cheap. i usually create my houses out of paper. so its a much simpler process!

  • @mathlete94 I would LOVE to build with balsa wood and make a perfectly scaled model, but it gets expensive. Right now, these popsicle sticks are $0.005 each

  • @TheMrFinneth I know, balsa sticks sell for $5 for 25 and that doesnt include shipping. I am going to try to find some at Home Depot or a local craft shop or something.

  • I wish I had enough patience to do somethng like this

  • @FiveBelowReviewGeek I bearly had the patience to do this haha

  • Please answer these questions. 1. How one earth did you get all of these sticks? 2. How long did it take you to build? 3. This is spectacular by the way, true art.

  • @kettlesarenice Thanks. 1. I buy them for 5 bucks every thousand. 2. It took 9 months

  • it looks amazing, I wish I could do something like that. one question, why take the time too build all the interior walls when you could just build the exterior, not a criticism just a comment, because I'm guessing it's all connected, why do all the interior work if no one could see it. It's still spectacular though.

  • @TheTimrhodes93 Thanks, well there's several reasons. One, I want to be an architect, or something in the building field, and this just gives me more experience. I got to make the measurements and stuff for the walls. And you actually can see inside it pretty well. The house is over 3 feet tall, and you can see inside it, especially if it's like on a table. It will be in an art show at school soon and it will be on a table a little lower than eye level, so you'll be able to see inside.

  • you should be a carpenter

  • @the49bus Nah I need a job with benefits and stuff, I plan on going to college

  • fuck i need to do it in 3 weeks oh shit

  • how do u cut the popsicle sticks so fast and btw nice houses and check out our channel we build stadiums out popsicle sticks and other stuff like catapults and arenas. :)

  • @scottypippen100 Thanks. They're called "anvil cutters"

  • ur chinese right?:) it looks amazing, ive always wanted to do something like that. and where did you get all the popsticks?

  • @ay0o0oooo0 Uh no, I'm a white american lol. I get them from the local ac moore

  • @TheMrFinneth how do you cut of the end of each piece? great work btw :)

  • @Holmberg358 "Anvil Cutters" they're called

  • @TheMrFinneth ok thx

  • live united shirt, I got one too :)

  • Well THAT's an amazing rat house, or mice house ... kitten house, canary's dream, etcetera. They'd be ultimately happy!

  • @invisiblespandex Thanks but I would never put any living creature inside this because they would 1. poop all over it and 2. probably die somewhere inside where I can't reach lol..

  • thats pretty amazing!

  • @Reuzenkabouter Just "pretty amazing"? Not amazing? haha just kidding, thanks.

  • u should stucco it lol . no really stucoo and paint it

  • @EXCAVATOR421 Nah I wouldn't stucco this but that's not a bad idea for future projects

  • dam keep it up!

  • Thats really cool i have always wanted to do this but i dont have to patiance.

  • U're gd at tis !

  • did you have to eat all those...hahaha!

  • @TheNoahBannerman Yes, that was the fun part. 3 for breakfast, 3 for lunch, 3 for dinner for over a year.

  • @TheMrFinneth hahaha

  • shcoked . the thing i do for the first year of my acrchitectural studies are nothing . got a video of a wodden model i make also but it like 1/200 and really it took me only 6 hours . I usued to do mdoeling 1/50 when i was 15 but i dont have anything recorded : / it would have been epic to have how i paint figures .

  • Comment removed

  • @Andy303theking I've made plenty. Why don't you take the 2 seconds to look at my other videos before asking that. And I assume by "totrail" you mean tutorial

  • YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! BRAVO FROM GREECE!

  • @marinesaoulidou Thanks!

  • DUDE UR A LEGEND!!!!!!!

  • @lauriemama Thanks! I'll be starting my next house pretty soon.

  • yes but will it blend?

  • dude this is amazing. just curious, why did you put all the electrical wires in the house

  • @straya520 Because it has fully functioning lights in each room. Each room has it's own light switch on the wall aswell. The house has a wire that plugs in to an outlet. The lights are small LED's that will last forever. All wires are hidden in the walls, in the floors, and in the attic. Check out my tour of this house to see.

  • u have a talent that many people wish they have

  • what day in december may i ask? cause my brithday is in december ( the 4th of december that is )

  • @koreyokeenelove A little after the 4th i think it was like the 12th
