  • I went to the Philippines thinking it was paradise. Thing is, reality is FAR FAR from anything close to a paradise.

  • exchange of value is important for mutual self-respect. Character development is key. Proposal is available. - character teaching project. true natural development; perfect inner guidance - contact International Montessori Society.

  • may i know the team song on it?thanks ...very touching

  • too bad you made the U.S Navy leave your country because they made things better there for millions of people. maybe you should talk to your leaders and ask them why they made the usn leave? also stop having too many children if you cant feed and support them !!!!

  • Great work!

  • every 20 million peopl elive above the poverty line and if every one person contributes just 2 pesos a day this already could cover these children foods for many days to come..

  • whats the title of the song?

  • @djoaneky1971 yea well what are you doing about it i probly do more to help them they you ever will. it is a shame that you want to complain but not do anything

  • shame on the goverment they should ang there heads in shame

  • i feel so blessed having my parents.....this is an eyeopener to every child who doesn't value their education and life.........buti na lang andyan si CNN Hero efren penaflorida..........

  • Let us support these kids through educational sponsorship. These are the future of Philippines--enough of bickering for it lead us nowhere.

  • kailangan narin ang ligation at vasectomy para sa mahihirap para matulungan sila at hindi maghihirap.....ligation at vasectomy para sa mahihirap...

  • NICE VIDEO AND ITS SOO TOUCHING

  • CALLING ALL FILIFINO'S ABROAD: Let us ALL unite as ONE, by helping the poor in OUR beloved country the Philippines. "WE cannot do everything, but WE can do something". Let's start with OUR barrangay first, then extend.."DON't asked what your country can do for you! "ASKED what you can do for your country" Let us break the "CYCLE OF POVERTY" by given one child (s) an EDUCATION. WE cannot help them all, BUT we can START by helping ONE, then TWO...IN LORD JESUS CHRIST NAME...AMEN! GOD BLESS

  • Whatever u did If the person ur helping for, are not helping themselves... Poverty is a cycle, poor families with a dozen of kids. They can't even send them in school but when their kids reached Puberty dey start making bbies.. It's a common sense, if u cant afford why having a dozen? Some are very selfish, they want to have more kids, for their kids to help them... The parents are of course the one to be blame. No sense of Responsibility, no ambitions for their children....

  • you must be stupid the only thing the poor can do for fun is fuck. and the after math is have a baby even thou they can not afford they not plan either. and even thou they not able to take care of they not kill it either so they get worse off

  • tht right mate 8 think same [planing familly its important thing bcsede if the are not able to feed kids so whats the point to bring them to life right huh.... the shuld be more responsibl i think

  • Vote for Nicanor Perlas in 2010!

    Nicanor Perlas for president!

  • I visit Manila once a year for vacation. I make it a point to stroll the streets of Ermita every evening. Always lined with kids holding out their hands. I never give money, but I do take all who care to go, over to the vendors and tell them to feed the children what they ask for and I pay the bill. I know it's a drop in the bucket but I don't know what else to do. I do sponsor one boy in Manila so that he can finish his schooling. I agree that education is the key to breaking the vicious cycle!

  • In behalf of those whom you have helped, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Know that it is very much appreciated. May you be blessed even more.

  • Its good you do such a thing... its better to give them food than money.

Im going back to Manila and ermita again this january

  • good day., I am really into Kids who are the victims of Poverty and i've been wanting to join Gawad Kalinga. It was introduced to us during the 3rd National Leadership Training for Student Govt. Officers. However, I don't have any idea how to join. I wanna know how. I am from cebu; do you have a chapter here?

  • I make my donations yearly, but the problem will not proliferate unless education is given to extremely poor couples that are having multiple children that have no means of raising them properly. A lot of these kids will grow up and become criminals out of desperation and society pays for it. I blame mostly the church and their influence against the idea of contraception. Population control is one of the problems in the Philippines, they don't have one.

  • Ditto, I totally agree, Please watch, Philippines' children in poverty video....Education is the key to unlock the dreadful condition of the Philippines' society, It is a stigma that we are starting to be laughing stock in ASEAN nations

  • family planning dapat matutunan ng kabataan ngayon..

  • if i gonna give help for your campaign, how can i assure that the money that i am going to donate will go to these children..?i need s

  • We are not necessarily asking for donations. If you doubt us, then there are other ways you can help without any money involved. Be Creative.

  • Well, listen pnjfoundattion, If you want everyone to convey to your message, Perhaps you need to be cleared and precised about your charity institution goal that we the willing participants would easily navigate to furnish/provide our honest earned living to the needy and broken under privileged youths who are desperately in dire situation.

  • Obviously, our goal is to help these children and their families. How? Through assisting "Gawad Kalinga", another organization that had already built many villages on legitimate soil for many under previlleged Filipino citizens. "Gawad Kalinga" provides the lots. We help finance the building of the house on those lots. We may opt to help build the house or use Gawad Kalinga's volunteers. (We'll build the house) We may also help sustain the daily needs of the family living in the house.

  • You may help through donations - Money, food, books and almost anything that could help them. It may seem worthless to most of us but i'm totally sure they'll greatly appreciate it.

  • great job guys im proud of you really i hope whn i save some money i will donate it too this kids are so swett amazing we shuld help them to have a better life right..... God bless i thik if we do more things lke thise we can change things for beter

  • you know what my fellow Filipino... We can do it! kaya natin toh!! wag lang tayo maging arugante, disiplina ang kaylangan,, mag trabaho tayo,

and helps our government n magtulungan,,.

  • To asianpinoy1990, Please do not be ambiguous, Your statement is acrimonious and vague. quitos56 got a point., He just wanted to make sure that the money and other donations do not end up into other scrupulous and scoundrel group that we are all aware of -it's rampant in the Philippines.

  • Continue..

  • my point is,, everybody can move on.. lets be practical.. mas maganda kung magtutulungan para sa ikagaganda ng Bayan.. like Marikina City... Very improvement.. coz they have dicipline each other..

  • Forget about the government (sick man of Asia) & concentrate straight to the charity organization, I hate to say this but the church should keep their nose where it belong, Church and state should not intertwine. That is why The Philippines is in shamble and mess up, Do you think there is a solution for this? If other nation from a free world would intervene maybe there is a hope,

  • i'd like to help ako si arnold fr usa

  • Contact us through our email.

  • Gawad Kalinga is an awesome organization. Though I feel that it should be all around the world because the needy children arent just found in the Philippines and Couples for Christ arent JUST filipinos, its multicultural, so Gawad Kalinga should happen in other places as well. I think we are just a little bit selfish that we are only concerned about helping our own country. but thats my own opinion. Nice video though (:

  • simple...

    #1 Population control

    #2 Stop corruption

#3 Pay taxes properly and ask for receipts

  • That was really sad video! what's the title of this song please?

  • Well done, pnjfoundation...I am indeed impressed and humbled by your medium, Hoping that all the youths would have the same perspective and empathy towards our society like you...Keep the spirit alive that someday hunger and poverty would impair through education and change by the government's priorities, YES WE CAN.
