@Koorice those arent ordinary professional games you see in japanese pro league but the ones called Masters League and the retired players play in it. i assume they do it for fun and charity and they do it on pretty rare occasion.
I used to want Mr. Murata to play in MLB so much. He would have been able to electrify the league and the fans with his fastball, an unorthodox pitching form, and forkball which would dance and drop on the homeplate just like knuckleball.
Of professional baseball players' acing pitches, I love Mr. JR Richard's fastball, Mr. Steve Carlton's slider, and Mr. Choji Mura's forkball best.
@pentonvilleroad I have seen both Nomo and Murata. Murata's fastball is faster and his forkball drops steeper than Nomo's counterparts. Mr. Murata has sometimes and deliverately showed to a hitter at bat that he is going to throw a forkball while winding up.
japanese uniforms are so gay.

Wow, Murata has clearly taken good care of himself, and his arm is still live. His legendary fork is still devastating, too.

It's a murata-san (the pitcher's name is choji murata) pitching mechanics, he always pitch like that.
