I think the president giving the speech on first day is very important. It sets the stage, a tone to give our students to work hard and get the most out of their learning. What Pawlenty doesn't want is a black man telling his "white" kids who to listen to or not. The fact stands, Pawlenty hasn't done much for the poorer people of MN, but he is working hard to talk to big corporation in MN to fund his 2012 presidential campaign and fight the DFLs. What a waste of my tax dollars.
