As far as we know,Eileen's never had a kid.This ending implies that Henry and Eileen get together later.

Walter Sullivan was an orphan found in room 302,Henry's,and was taken to an orphanage by Frank Sunderland, who found him after Walter's parents abandoned him.Walter was brainwashed by the Silent Hill death cult into believing that room 302 was his "Mother" and that she could be ressurrected by the 21 Sacraments ritual.Walter kills the first 10 of his victims during SH2

Continuing on what Vegie said, the kid is actually Walter Sullivan as well, its the mental form of his form when he was still innocent and just wants his mother. It appears after a certain point and is at some points helpful towards the main charecter, its never agressive nor actively trying to kill the main dude.
