This is NOT TRUE - this is false propaganda - Israel gives plenty of supplies of food etc to Gaza. I really do not understand why since in return, Israel is getting hit by Hamas. Israel sends notices to the people to flee from a certain area before they bombed (bombing being in retaliation ONLY) Yet Hamas lies and lies and lies - has but electrical power and then, blames Israel for it ! Proper translation=to nullify. أبطل used in contracts-one says "العقد باطل" meaning "The contract is invalid". Insert those words in Google translator individually, you get: "يبطلها" "Invalidate".

@5233484 Nobody said there weren't any sanctions, but then again HAMAS is at war with Israel, on their initiative (unless you call rockets a peace sign). I don't know about numbers, but as long as there is anything reaching Gaza from the Israeli side it means that at least half of the lies spread about Israel aren't true. And it's a big pity that instead of passing the aid that is reaching Gaza to the people HAMAS keeps it all to themselves.

Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005. There was no blockade then. What did Gazans do? Started firing missiles at Israel. The blockade was established in 2007. No cement - because it doesn't go for rebuilding, it goes to fortifying Hamas' bunkers. No water pipes - because Hamas uses them to make missile launchers. No fertilizers - because Hamas uses them to make bombs. Got it now?

Of course Israel withdrew its settlers from Gaza. Israel can't imprison, experiment with new deadly weapons - white phosphorus, depleted uranium. Israel can't use chemical weapons and horrible killing devices like flechettes. For their own protection settlers had to be out of Gaza. Israel's intention to crush Gazans has been planned well in advance of Operation Cast Lead.
