if you multiplied the base tempo by 16, how did you fit the triplets in? it seems to me that 12 would be appropriate.

16 makes the numbers easier to follow, i.e. one measure is 16 of the numbers, so i start on 1, 17, 33, etc.

theEvilGrimace did 12, but 16 worked better for me, as i just estimated triplets by dividing one beat (4 numbers) into 3, using individual lines. It isn't completely even (i like to go 5,5, and 6 for lines used), but it sounds fine
