  • I have an Optima battery that I bought in Fairbanks, Alaska. Made in 2001 & I purchased it January/February 2002.

It first was in a 1981 AMC Eagle SX/4, then a 1983 Dodge D150 then to a D.D. 2003 Jeep Wrangler Sport: It's still going! It had about a year & a half break/ two, on a trickle charger, when it went from the Eagle to the Dodge. It went to the Jeep as an Odyssey battery lives with the SLANT6 as a seasonal item. But, the Odyssey is a better battery in all respects: will last to 15 yrs.

  • have a red top in my pickup and it is going on 8 years old and still kicking 8-)

  • i have had my redtop for 8 years and going strong!!! the best battery i ever owned!!!!!!

  • Best battery ever made! Period!

  • Optima does NOT last 6yrs now days. I say 'now days' because Johnson Control has Optima made in Mexico. This has been about 2-3yrs now. Optima's return rate has skyrocketed, quality is absolute junk. I'm a D/C Power Tech and been doing it for 8yrs now. My local Autozone dont recommend them either. Spiral technology is a joke... if it really was that great, then why wouldn't all the manufactures start doing it? It's truly a waste of space. Optima = Junk. Sorry, but fact.

  • @krazeddrummer, couldn't of said it any better... Every word of this comment is right on the $. "Optima Technology" is a well thought out $ making gimmick.

  • wanna red top for my jeep, really expensive tho

  • @lol123321123321 dont buy an optima.

  • @bradlycriswell1990 whats wrong with them? i thought they were good?
