He tried to rob a bank and took a hostage who could have been killed. Put someone's life in jeopardy is the same as killing them and both acts should result in the death penalty.

What concerns me is how many people here seem as eager for violence as he was. People who wish harm on somebody else family (like you just did to me) should also be considered a threat to civilized society.

@brncarlisle713 Oh please, the robber was a dumbass who knew he had 10 police surrounding him yet he STILL went chasing after the lady with his GUN drawn. He was ARMED and ready to shoot the girl. What do you think the police were supposed to do? Chase after him too and give him time to shoot her? Please.

@brncarlisle713 Example..... If 2 guys with gun's or ANY life threatening weapon, tried to do a home invasion at my house, threatening my family-Beleive me they would both have lead poisening! I would sleep like a baby while they were lying dead! Unfortunately these are the times we live in and you have every right to protect yourself and your family. Anyone who makes the decision to threaten another life, may face a harsh death. That's not my problem!

@Killerbee80 Absolutely 100% correct. And the fact that this douche bag doesn't go to jail for 6 months so that he can get out and cause harm to somebody else in society. The Utopians think every person is a good candidate for rehabilitation. Sorry, but when somebody puts a gun to an innocent persons head, that's as good as pulling the trigger. People will argue and say he didn't actually pull the trigger, but by the time they do...an innocent life is gone. That's my 2 cents! :-)

@jdorf40 Exactly. The most important rule for handling a gun is to NEVER aim your gun at someone(thing) unless you intend to kill. This is ingrained in anyone with official gun training, so this man putting his gun to an innocent bystander in front of police was ludacris. He was basically telling them he intended to kill her by way of action, even if it wasn't his true intent. I am not glad he died, but he signed his own death warrant.

Sad all around, but LULz for DAYS! WTTG/WUSA wasted SO much time speculating their asses off. They didn't know shit, but talked endlessly over what was clear as DAY, on the screen. They were saying the cop who was hit (by friendly fire, and realized moments after the fact) was an injured hostage, for an hour? BS. Are they blind? And then that beaner slipping on the snow, and doing a 'Cucaracha Prance' straight into a hail of bullets. iPutito got what he deserved!

Arrest any family member if any of them say a peep about the police killing the SOB. Charge them with conspiracy after the fact. Defending a criminal who we know 100% did the crime should itself be a crime.
Give the cop who killed him a promotion, so other cops learn to save tax pay dollars on stupid trials for the 100% guilty.

@brncarlisle713 A trial needs to take place when there isnt certainty about whether or not the person commited the crime in question. In this case, there is no doubt. He tried to rob a bank and took a hostage who could have been killed. Put someone's life in jeopardy is the same as killing them and both acts should result in the death penalty.
Tell me why this guy deserves a trial?

A fact you should be appreciative of considering the vague threats you yourself have made about people (including the president) on youtube. And yes, in a civilized society everyone deserves a trial. its crazy how the officer got hit. (after the pause) he comes from behind the action, walks around a little, puts his gun away, realizes he is his in the leg and runs off screen, helped by officers. but you first notice him (before the pause) and another officer come into the picture after the guy slips and chases the lady by the first car. i'm not debating he was hit; i just think it was friendly fire because the guy never shot in his direction, if you look at the tape

All the violence shown on TV, movies, video games and they cut out where this lowlife asshole robber gets blown away by the police. This is exactly the only kind of violence that should be should be shown...when you decide to put others in extreme danger and commit major crimes. This real life drama shows budding criminals how they can be uncerimoniously cut down in the street and lie there like garbage. Police pointing guns in all directions looked scary. This is where training comes in.

Pay attention at 0:50 the officer was shot by another officer. and all of the sudden he noticed he got shot and started limping LOL....they could have killed an officer the way they were pointing guns everywhere and not having control. Tha'ts horrible how they managed this.
