This planer is very quiet in operation, sounds very noisy on this demo even at low volume.

Cuts very smoothly (set just under 1mm), its in a different league to my old Hitachi p20sa2.

Although that did see nearly 20 years of hard labour to be fair.

Just bought one, do the blades need adjusting or are they factory set?

How does the plastic guide block work?
