Have You driven the C63? Im thinking between those two. More towards the AMG cause of the exhaust note and torque. How long do You have the m3, were there any trouble with it?

@Razor4ever If the m3 had the same power/displacement as the AMG, it would be a no brainer in stock form. The m3 feels more raw/rigid and the driver position/feel/pedals are amazing. AMG = awesome but it still feels like a larger sedan with a big engine in it and an amazing exhaust note. M3 feels more race car like. AMG feels more calm; though accels faster. I want to put the ESS supercharger on the m3. M3 @ 600whp will be awesome BOTH cars are amazing. I like BMWs way of doing it

@InterlagosM3 Thanks for the info. Will have to drive both of them. What I truely seek in a sport car is the power on the go and confidence in corners. Well I still got time though, because Im investing atm so probably will buy the car this end of the year... I drove the ISF, its a really nice car, but doesnt habve that german suspension body rigidity feel.

@Razor4ever PS: ive got around 41k miles and bought it new in 2008.This really is the best daily driver in the world for me; esp in 4 door config. AMG is a car you can go FAST in real easy but it lacks that special driver connection. M3 feels more fun screaming down tight twisty back roads at WOT & AMG would be more fun on the hwy. When you really! haul ass with the m3, you remember how AMAZING the car is. The M3 is REALLY fast if you ALWAYS stay above 5k rpm! enough for any road..

People, People! calm yourselves down. Remember, for the last 10 years, the BMW M3 has had an adjustable red line that will not let you see full engine RPM until the engine reaches a certain temperature. This car was HOT; otherwise you would be hearing what 5500 rpm sounds like instead of 8500rpm!

@saveus444 Sorry about the last comment, I wasn't being too specific, I meant something like downshift at 35 mph into 3rd gear and some time for prompt braking in dire situations, 45mph into 3rd gear. I see automatics on cruise control do it all the time to maintain the speed. I was told that gears in a manual transmission are meant only to transfer power in one direction: that is from the engine, and not the force from a downshifted transmission

They are located at intersections and take pictures and video of you braking the law i.e. blowing a red light or turning illegally (not sure if they get you for speeding through). I have the same car, but I always let the big V8 warm up totally before I punch it.....BTW u can do power slide without having to redline it....its easier on the car and you get a smoother slide....this M3 has almost perfect balance with all 8 cylinders behind the front axel...it can be controlled so easily its breathtaking!!! I can power slide through a corner at 160 KMH in M Dynamic Mode and not even sweat it

I really love this video. This is who BMW M had in mind. A normal working person who likes to have fun where applicable! I can't see anything unsafe in this video either. DTC/DSC is off but you clearly have the monster well under control and other road users really aren't an any risks. For example, when you leave the parking lot, if the car gets too much angle, you just lift your right foot and add a little more opposite lock!
