Kazumi Nikaido, Sotte Bosse, both Japanese, cover this song. There's also a Filipino version by Donna Cruz called Isang Tanong Isang Sagot. And finally, Jacky Cheung's version A Little More Each Day.
My girlfriend prefers Jacky's version. I still say Kuwata's is the best.

it's actually a chinese pop song from the 90s sung by jackey chung, nice to see a japanese soulful version, gives it a new dimension.
