@LeperMessiah43 If anything it makes it go slower. Cache is stored files which are loaded faster because it remembers that they are commonly used files.

What is 'untrue' is that this is a 'glitch'. Microsoft deliberately put this feature in, that's why there's a code for it. A glitch would be more accidental.

Well, it removes all of the updates and patches. So, for example, the RSV2 XP Glitch. It was patched with an update. When you perfrom maitnence on your 360, it removes that patch allowing you to do it. Glitching on World At War is made possible also. When you update it restores the patch so if you performed maitnence to delete the patches, DO NOT UPDATE.

I used this in order to finish the Theives Guild questline in Oblivion cause it would glitch everytime I tried to finish the last mission. It is also used to exploit past cheats or glitches that have been fixed by new patches.

...its not a glitch....its a teqnique to use to try and fix some of the problems on your hard drive. Kinda wierd why you called it a glitch. The cache gets fragmented over time causing the whole entire system to slow down,freezes,slow loading etc etc. MAINTENANCE

elder scrolls 4: oblivion there was a patch at one point so you couldnt do the duplication glitch or the unlimited money glitch so this hack is logical for this game.. this is only one example

Firstly it IS NOT a glitch. Secondly it deletes the system updates (not just the unwanted ones GlitchingBastard, and all of them are useful in some way) which sometimes you get when you go onto certain games.

wrong. the cache has data from games to make them run smoother. whenn you go on a website for the first time it will be slower than later on... your computer saves the images and data to your cache so it can load it quicker

also, this isnt a 'glitch' as glitches go against what software is soposed to do. microsoft added this key combination. no glitch.
